Probably a little bit early to be discussing that after all with 16 teams in most are still playing this week.

I mean yeah maybe to an extent, but I mean there are some teams that should looking other directions… Southeastern(Chillicothe) WCH? Just to name a couple.

Definitely after week 11 (10.5) there likely may be some movement as most area teams will be out of the playoffs. Definitely some loud grumblings at some of the schools I have been to in recent weeks so it will be interesting to see what happens.

I know of one that should be gone. Last year on his contract I believe. Hasn't done anything since he came, made playoffs only because they take 16 teams in the region.
Let me say this, I support the kids but what I have seen from the coaching it could be better.

Yeah but most teams are going to wait until football season is over it’s not the nfl. I do believe there’s a few teams that might be heading in different directions but to be discussed later on

In the OVC alone I could see South Point and Peake being gone. And with the type of idiots you have in Gallia, you could see that guy getting ran out of the job( hopefully not) but that place is a train wreck

If that buddy is a former head football coach himself (for a rival school), then I’d say you are probably right

I will say this: there’s not another coach I know who works harder than him. Maybe Pendleton. I seen a complete transformation of Chesapeake from last year to this year. Think about what happened to Rock Hill when they got rid of him… the “second coming” didn’t work out very well with the same talent returning the for two seasons, couldn’t even match the success and he was finally fired this past season. Be careful what you wish for.

That buddy is just a parent with a kid in the younger grades. Just very intune with what goes on there. Wants to keep his kid there at SP but talks to me constantly about moving him down the road.

I tell him all the time. SP has not got football right in 25 years. I dont see that changing anytime soon, might as well bring him on down

You saw a transformation? They went from 4 wins to 5, and the wins came against inferior opponents. Not really a vote of confidence. They still can't compete with teams who are above average. Coach is a great guy, but often times a change is necessary. If there was a HOF for good guys, he'd be in it.

He may be very hard worker , coaches do put in a lot of hours.
Record in the past 4 years 12-28.
I am glad they won the 5 games this year and if they play a perfect game could beat West.
I would like to see them win it.

And what exactly qualifies your opinion? Did you even earn a varsity letter?

I did earn a varsity letter not in football but baseball. I also have refereed, umpired and coached . I am not an authority on coaching but it what I observed is poor fundementals.

Since he’s been at Chesapeake, they’ve been 16-40 and 6-33 vs the OVC.

Prior to this, he was 49-83 at Rock Hill.

Combined record of 65-123.

This isn’t a knock on them as a person or human being and he has improved the number of wins each year at Chesapeake.
