Good lord $16 bucks going to break the bank. Go out and support these kids. They deserve it. Yea OHSAA takes more than they should, but the host school still gets paid a portion. And the $5 parking goes to good causes to help the kids. Heaven forbid the kids win and you have to add the price of gas onto that $16 next week. If WC would happen to win that could be an extra $30 bucks.

Haven’t missed a Portsmouth game other than Covid in probably 15 years so can’t say I won’t be there supporting them. That said $16 is absolutely absurd. Portsmouth has never charged to park at the school, so now because you host your first playoff game in 22 years you’re charging $5 to park. Maybe it’s a playoff thing and that’s fine, I wouldn’t know as they haven’t hosted since I was in grade school sadly. Maybe $2 or $3 but $5 on top of the $11 ticket is silly to me. Won’t see my $5 though, I’ll park on the street per usual. Area I park in is way closer and easier to get out of. I’m just complaining to complain honestly lol. Have a good day sir.

OHSAA are crooks. $11 for a first round game is straight theft. Portsmouth charging parking is status quo for the playoffs. Ironton charges for that OU lot. Can’t remember if Fairland charged last year. I pay for my wife, myself, parents & daughter to watch our nephew. Looks like I’ll need to break out a hundo for this one. Don’t get there early enough to find street parking…

Portsmouth is 3-0 in the first round since the playoff expansion in 2021. Clearcreek defeated Minford in 2021 but missed the playoffs in 2022 and 2023. Either way someone is taking their first L in the round of 16 this week.

Congrats Trojans! Sloppy start, felt like they were gifted that first TD. Defense forcing turnovers was awesome. Still a few silly penalties but much better than the prior week. First home playoff win in the Coliseum, first home playoff win in 22 years. Awesome to have been there.
