D5 game of the week. I said a few weeks ago if you switch schedules, Barnesville would be 6-4 and Wheelersburg would probably be 10-0. Tough draw for Barnesville to be 10-0 and have to play a top 5 team in the region.

Barnesville will be the deserved favorite but I wouldn’t be surprised either way.

My opinion: the 3 man rush in the 2nd half could have cost them had the Rocks receivers caught the ball. Too much time given to the lefty. The big guys up front weren't getting 2 yards past the Los(gassed?).

I'm no football god but I said earlier Burg by 1-2 touchdowns. Their schedule has them ready to roll. I don't know much about Union Local but Burg will show up ready to play.

Burg should win this one. Road trip or not they've been there before and won. Burg will pull out all the stops. I look for them to win by one or 2 touchdowns just because this time of year they are a different team. Say what you will about them but they find their way. Barnesvilles year to put the Wheelersburg bug behind them. Wheelersburg gets behind early and can't score fast enough to keep up with Barnesville. They get behind by a couple scores and panic will set in and mistakes are going to start happening. I'll take Barnesville by at the very least 17.

Credit to Barnesville on playing tough the entire game. After the first half, it wasn’t looking good. But they kept at it, and could have had a shot if not for the dropped passes.

Overall, liked the commitment to the run. A few times the coaches reverted back to their pass-happy place, but for the most part stayed true to the ground game.
