... I put the final touches on my Pre-season Rankings last Wednesday, I'll look at them again today ,Saturday ... you know how you THINK you've got it nailed down then you look at the big board, a couple teams just don't look right where I've got them ranked ... your Dragons are going to be tough to rank in the preseason as they have a lot to prove in filling scoring roles that were vacated by graduation ... Vinton County is another one - as they have that outstanding pg in Cobra Sharp but I look to figure out where they are going to get more scoring ... then I look at the coaching for both Fairland and VC as BOTH teams have outstanding coaching - that has to be factored in ... as always though - no matter where teams start in the rankings, the teams I have too low - they work their way up to where they should be based on play on the court - as it should be ... and those who I have ranked too high - they too find their way to where they should be compared to other teams in SEOhio ... I'll get out and see as many as I can early on - especially my top 20 teams so I can make good "eyes on" comparisons ... I was looking at some of the early scrimmages - might be a little thin playerwise with teams still playing football - Fairland/Jackson/Logan Elm/West/Waverly etc... Minford is still playing soccer in the post season ... but hey!!! we're officially off and running!!! looking forward to an outstanding 2024-25 season!!!
