Why are we worried about the past years. The almost unstoppable offense has been on a roll sense week 4. Waterford has found there identity and they will continue to be almost unstoppable.
Was that when they started their TVC schedule? Funny how that happens

Yeah teams that FF played too. Belpre and Harrison central. But FF didn’t want to play teams like Nelsonville York and Trimble.

Nelsonville famously ended the series with Fort Frye because, according to one of their fans, they "didn't want to play on grass" - after two bad losses. Fort Frye played Trimble once, and it was a Fort Frye blowout. Waterford plays a division 7 schedule, hasn't beaten The Cadets in over a decade. If Waterford didn't happen to be in the same community, would the series even be competitive enough to continue?

Well . . . exactly. Why is Waterford so obsessed with competing with Fort Frye? That little brother jealousy is the only thing keeping this "rivalry" going.

Or the fact the schools are 2 minutes apart is why it will forever be a rivalry.

Very funny. FF didn’t want to play Trimble when they were the powerhouse they were. They got Trimble on the worst season they had in a decade. But you guys and your big heads got a different team coming Friday so all boys better be ready.

Okay? Maybe. So you'd be 1-17 against Fort Frye in recent history.

No, it was not one of Trimble's better teams. The point is, while Trimble is a good program, but there is nothing about The Tomcats to suggest Fort Frye would be scared to play them. Fort Frye beat Waterford by 30. Waterford beat Trimble, Why in the world would The Cadets be scared of Trimble? Fort Frye has recently traveled to play Lima Central Catholic, Steubenville Central, Wheeling Central, Linsley, and were signed to go play St. Henry before St. Henry backed out. You think they are scared of Trimble and Nelsonville York? Seriously?

What are you talking about lol? Fort played the 12th best schedule in the state according to Drew Pastuer. Fort would love to play those teams. They dropped Fort. Last time NY played in Beverly it was like 63-20. They dropped us claiming they only wanted to play on Turf non league then they picked up Waterford.

You have no idea what you’re talking about. Fort tried to schedule Trimble for years. They went to Trimble and dominated then. Then next year Trimble didn’t have to come to Fort Frye because of covid.

In 2021 Fort beat Trimble 45-13. That was far from the worst Trimble team they went 8-2 and beat Waterford 34-7.

Waterford fans seem to feel like they need to prove something to us. Honestly . . . Waterford has never wanted to join The Fort Frye district so they could keep their community school. I get it. They do a great job being a community school and I have mad respect for everything they accomplish. It's an academically strong district, good families, and they are great against other schools in their category. But on the sports field, against Fort Frye the numbers speak for themselves. Over time, it has not been a close "rivalry" at all.

Schedule strength is updated weekly on fantastic 50. Fort finished with 21st best schedule in D6 and Waterford was 79th. The game is at Fort Frye because Fort had more Harbin points when 1 less win than Waterford had with 8.

Here we go again with the past record. It’s playoff season baby and the wildcats are coming to ruin dreams. We don’t need to get started about recruiting players either or OSHAA will get into it

You're the one who brought up Nelsonville and Trimble. You obviously don't know what you're talking about on that front.

I have every confidence Waterford will be better than they were in week 4.

This is what makes a rivalry healthy. This is what makes a game exciting to watch. I do hope that billboard material you are talking about distracts them in that way though. Coleton, Max, Treven, Zavier, and several others will have a great game if so.
