State Championship Predictions

Who wins each Division? I'll take a quick stab at it without much research. I may change a couple as some divisions are wide open and I haven't had time to disect all schedules.

D1: Mentor
D2: Hoban
D3: Ursuline
D4: Mentor Lake Catholic
D5: Ironton
D6: Coldwater
D7: Marion Local

Because they've been dominate in the 2nd half of ball games all year, I'm going with Ironton in D5. Imo it's a key indicator to depth and conditioning.

Would love to see ironton win it all but I can definitely see the turnovers and penalties cause them to lose as they get further along. Fri night would be a great opportunity to play a really clean and dominant game for 4 quarters.

I think the only lock as it stands is Marion Local

I would have to agree. In most divisions there are a handful of teams who have a legitimate shot.

In D1 it's reasonable to pick Moeller, St. Ed's, Mentor?

D2: Hoban, Massillon, Avon?
D3: Watterson, TCC, Ursuline?

Anyone else?

I'll look at other divisions later on.
