MVL WEEK 12

3 MVL teams push into the second round, with only Philo falling in round 1.
3 Tri Valley hosts 11 Dover. Both teams cruised to big wins last week. I’m sure part of the TV faithful wishes they could have got Granville to pay them back from last year, but Dover is obviously formidable and has a strong history of greatness. I think Tri Valley is still one more week away from a true test. TV by 3 touchdowns.
3 New Lex hosts 6 Logan Elm. New Lex handled a young Canton South team while Logan Elm handled a Philo team that didn’t finish the year strong. These two teams have a lot in common, both have made the playoffs the last 3 years and this is the first where both have won a playoff game. Think this will be a close game. NL by 10.
7 West M travels to 2 Fairland. West M came away with a close one Friday, winning by 8. Fairland handled a Zane Trace team that had only beaten two winning teams this year. This is a familiar trip for the Tornaodes as they traveled to and knocked off Fairland in the first round of the playoffs 2 years ago. I think this West M team is better. Fairland has played a pretty tough schedule, only losing to Ironton. Give me West M by 2 scores.

TV - I'm going with TV to win this one comfortably. I think Dover is a solid team but Granville's QB was out so that score is a little misleading. TV plays efficient they should come out on top.
NL - I think NL offense is going to overwhelm Logan Elm. NL will have to stop LE rushing game but i think they'll do enough and out score LE.
WM - I think this is a tough one for WM. Fairland probably doesn't forget WM ruining what was supposed to be a good season for the dragons last time they met. Travel is a b word and West has some stuff they have to clean up. I'm more worried for the tornadoes than i was a week ago. I hope they pull it out but i'm just not confident. Fairland

I haven't seen Dover play in a while, are they still a pass heavy team? Just my speculation but if Granville's Off is stagnant because they can't get the ball moving..... 3 and out over and over, or short drives in general. That'll put your D in a bind and keep them on the field longer, and vs a passing team that's a heavy ask. Again I have no clue I just remember Dover used to throw it around back in the day.

TV - I’ll take the Scotties by 14. Expect this to be a great game between two outstanding programs. Wouldn’t surprise me if both teams put up a lot of points.
NL - Panthers by 21. Their offense is just so explosive.
WM - Tornadoes make the long trek and escape with a 7 point win in a physical affair.

TV - I too like the Scotties by couple TDs although Dover always has a tough team.
NL - Logan Elm will have to hog the ball and play keep away. NL has been able to score a lot on 2-3 plays. I'll take the Panthers in a fairly close one.
WM - Their defense will be the difference against a good Fairland. WM by seven.

Dover pulled out an improvable win after TV was up by 3 TDs. Turnovers cost the Scotties big time.
Logan Elm was unable to get off the field and NL did what they usually do (explosive offense).
