For WM, this is uncharted territory. Biggest game in recent program history. Playing a regional powerhouse and consistent winning program. A chance to play for a regional title with a win.

For Wheelersburg, it’s Week 13. Their coaches and players know to how to prepare for these games and expect to win.

On results, you’d probably make WM a slight favorite. I think Wheelersburg does enough to win and earn a regional final rematch against someone.

I could see this being a 28-14 type game. I root for the Pirates but West Muskingum is a complete team and from watching Burg's secondary, they may get picked on in this game. I believe Burg has the line to stop any running game as long as the jet sweep doesn't get them like it did with Union Local. Good luck to both teams and hope its injury free.

I am so glad that this game is closer than a 3 hour drive because my sister and I have been to every Burg game for the last 15 or more years we especially love the playoffs games the memories we have had over the years especially when we went to Canton to watch Burg win it all in 2017 but this year has been different she got diagnosed with liver Cancer and it can't be cured and it has made her very sick at times so me and her haven't been able to go to a playoff game this year until now I am praying she can make it to Athens cause she is one of the biggest Burg fans I know and she loves watching the games live and so do I. The fun we have together is great and I love her so much and her name is Cheryl if anyone would like to pray for her I would appreciate it . And I would nothing more for another Wheelersburg victory so we can maybe go to one more game together so please Pirates play your hearts out for my sister you guys bring her so much enjoyment and happiness so to all the Burg coaches and players and cheerleaders I would like to thank all of you for making her happy so GO BURG GO OUT AND PLAY YOUR HEARTS OUT AND MAKE ALL OF US PROUD ESPECIALLY MY SISTER !!! West Muskingum is a good team with a couple good receivers and QB. One made the catch in OT when they played LV overtop of the defender in the end zone. For some reason LV had no kicker in that game which cost them 4'times in the red zone and no extra points in the game which let it get into OT. Taking nothing away from WM they played hard the whole game and if Wheelersburg has problems covering the pass West Muskingum will pick them apart. Good Luck to WM
