Re: Week 13 : #4 (9-2) Harvest Prep vs #1 (11-1) Ironton
Glad to welcome these two teams to Waverly’s Downtown Athletic Facility and Raidiger Field. Excited for this clash of two great teams…

Looks like Waverly will be Ground Zero for this Battle. It's a much better drive than to Jackson.

Will this be the game coach P chokes in or do we wait another week or 2?

Hot Take! Ironton running clock. This team is on a mission and NO ONE is getting in the way.

Coach P doesn’t call the offense or the Defense now. He just oversees the program.
He’s 9-1 against Portsmouth
5-2 against Wheelersburg
5 OVC championships
3 regional championships
3 state runner ups.
I’m sure there’s a lot of teams that would want to choke if that’s the standard for choking
You care to share with us now Portsmouth’s great football history? Not the last 7 years but just history in general. Let’s see if it measures up.

What does that have to do with anything? Is he not the head coach? If he doesn’t guide this team a state title then he’s choked again. Ironton is the only school around here who have the athletes to get there but the coach to not get it done. He’s choked in the past and he will do it again this season. You’re awfully concerned with Portsmouth when you have Prep, probably Burg and tougher games ahead. Not concerned with Portsmouth at all. They are terrible. Can’t even win the OVC. You just got beat 94-0 in consecutive games 2 weeks apart and you’re talking about rent free.
Coach Pendleton and The Tigers just set the record for consecutive wins in this rivalry last week.
They also hold the record for biggest point differential in the rivalry.
If you thought this year was bad. Wait til next year.

Bringing in more kids from out of town next season I guess? At least you admit it. Maybe when Coach P chokes this year then next year you all can tell yourselves this is the year, until it’s not again. Paper champs, off season champs, social media champs but won’t be state champs.XandOs wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2024 12:05 pm Not concerned with Portsmouth at all. They are terrible. Quick do Coah P’s record in the final 4 or state title game.

Coach P choke artist…see you in roundball when he chokes soon
Re: Week 13 : #4 (9-2) Harvest Prep vs #1 (11-1) Ironton
I would agree with you if Ironton didn't commit 10 penalties last week. With that said this game is a toss up.

Your point remains, but i think Portsmouth actually 0-1 in 126 years (lost in state semis to Van Wert in either 2000 or 2001)!*
Re: Week 13 : #4 (9-2) Harvest Prep vs #1 (11-1) Ironton
Seen both teams play and both have a lot of skill on both sides of the ball. Should be a another slugfest. I’m going with Ironton 21-7. But I could be wrong
