The teams sound well-matched. Clayton's injury is the big x-factor.

according to some sources+ sportswriters, they have one of the best DE duos in the state between Bauer and Lusher. Wouldn't call that average. should make it interesting.EasternDspy wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2024 12:17 am Henry Ohlinger Rb for GH is a beast though. Looking at everything else it looks average.

Re: WK 13: Fort Frye (9-3) @ Grandview Heights (11-0)
Can't get a total read on Grandview Heights, but I'd say if Miller is able to play anywhere near 100% Cadets could come away victors.
In today's Columbus Dispatch 10 of 11 sports writers in their weekly poll picked Grandview.
Dispatch listed all-District 1st team - Grandview QB Henry Ohlinger (6-1, 205), DL Braddock Lusher (6-2, 220), DB Owen Nugent (5-9, 150).
Heights had 5 players special mention/honorable mention.

That rb for grandview is one of the best I have seen in a long time at this level and those defensive ends are beast valley couldn’t block them they run a kinda simple offense but you just can’t stop it

Re: WK 13: Fort Frye (9-3) @ Grandview Heights (11-0)
I heard Henry Ohlinger is hurt to. Could both teams be without all state RBs?
Re: WK 13: Fort Frye (9-3) @ Grandview Heights (11-0)
Game day- good luck to Fort Frye- will be rooting for the Bobcats- hope is a good game- and sounds as if both teams hope is for no more injuries- had not heard of Ohlinger being hurt- but do know Owen Nugent got banged up a bit last Friday against Colonel Crawford. So Good Luck to both teams. The winner will get to play either Galion Northmor or WL Ridgewood- in IMO the 2 best teams in the Region.

Re: WK 13: Fort Frye (9-3) @ Grandview Heights (11-0)
This game is going to be low scoring and come down to what team can have some sort of pass game. Turnover battle is huge in this one. I think game will be decided by 10 or less either way. Tyce Beardsley is a stud. Last year both his starts as the lead back he went over 180 yards. 1329 total yards this year he’s not your normal back up.

are both rbs out tonight? Miller will be a bigger loss for ff. Offense wasn’t the same when he got hurt last week.

Re: WK 13: Fort Frye (9-3) @ Grandview Heights (11-0)
If Ohlinger is out, Grandview offense going to struggle. He just does so much for them and was best RB I saw play all season. Grandview's pass defense looked suspect against Valley, so if FF can somewhat throw, this game going to be a close one.*

Dear lord help us! Having to listen to Jared Casen call a football game is like a finger nails on a chalkboard. Can’t Warf find someone more intelligent to call a game?
