Waverly Tigers 2024-25

It’s officially basketball season at Waverly.

There wont be many seniors but a good young nucleus to build on:
Seniors: Carroll, Haynes, Hobbs
Sophomores: Hurt, G Meyers, S Meyers, Nelson, Nibert, Russell
Freshman: Alexander

No Juniors on that list. There may be others decide to play now that football is over.

Looking forward to opening the season with the Trojans coming to Downtown Arena. Glad to see Waverly on the schedule, and maybe it can be on a yearly basis. Easy trip up or down Rt.23.

It’s our foundation game this year. I don’t see it listed on the school site on the regular schedule. I listed it on another thread about scrimmages. I’ll post it again here.

I just received word it is cancelled. Much of the team played football and they just played their last game Friday night.

Yes next year is when the expectations will really ramp up, and honestly even more the following year… I’m not sure there is a junior on the roster
