You guys keep responding to me, I’m just trying to give everyone a different perspective on a troll. That guy from Ironton with 17 accounts now has competition.ohbuckeye2 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2024 4:23 pmTalking about rent free, you’re ate up with the Fighting Tigers lol. Maybe when Coach P chokes this year then next year you all can tell yourselves this is the year, until it’s not again. Paper champs, off season champs, social media champs but won’t be state champs.XandOs wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2024 12:05 pm Not concerned with Portsmouth at all. They are terrible. Can’t even win the OVC. You just got beat 94-0 in consecutive games 2 weeks apart and you’re talking about rent free.
Coach Pendleton and The Tigers just set the record for consecutive wins in this rivalry last week.
They also hold the record for biggest point differential in the rivalry.
If you thought this year was bad. Wait til next year.

Completely agree! I look for Ironton to play their best game all year and come out on top. But either way the winner of this will own the region!

Ironton and Prep both have a ton of playmakers on offense and defense. Ironton and Prep both make some mistakes as far as penalties go. This isn't Burg vs Barnesville. This game is stacked with athletes.
It will come down to turnovers and the line of scrimmage.
Tigers by 14.

I have a feeling Ironton wins this game easily
Re: Week 13 : #4 (9-2) Harvest Prep vs #1 (11-1) Ironton
Having seen both teams play I don't see this game being close at the end unless Ironton just implodes. Running clock early 4th quarter. HP is not at the level they have been the last few years.
Re: Week 13 : #4 (9-2) Harvest Prep vs #1 (11-1) Ironton
Whomever implodes its part of the game and it usually means that one team or the other wasn't well prepared by this time of year a team should be done imploding but turnovers do happen but they are usually caused by the other team. Good luck to both teams

It's basically the same two teams from last year. Only Harvest Prep found a better mobile quarterback. Ironton had problems with their defensive speed last year and I'd say it will be the same this year. I'm still picking Ironton to win but by no means do I feel either team gets more than 10 points ahead of the other.

If 17 plays for prep. Give me prepWinnerWinner wrote: ↑Tue Nov 12, 2024 4:06 pmIt's basically the same two teams from last year. Only Harvest Prep found a better mobile quarterback. Some don’t understand how talented prep is. If they had any clue on special teams and played more disciplined, they would have won it last year and they are better this year. Ironton is a team that matches up well with prep. Should be close either way
Re: Week 13 : #4 (9-2) Harvest Prep vs #1 (11-1) Ironton
Prepared? I don't know about Harvest Prep but kudos to the coaches at Ironton as, in my opinion, this was one of the most prepared Ironton teams I've have ever seen, and that from week one. You immediately sensed these boys were well schooled and each knows their job. They play very well together, and the comradery is very easy to spot by any serious fan who's watched those Tigers all this year. They are truly the definition of a team.
I will admit also though, I've seen more than one team go down late in the season over suddenly being far too timidly cautious and almost playing 'prevent' the whole game. "What got you here, will get you there"....might be a good way of putting it.

Really hope he's not out because if this turns into a close game then there's always going to be that what if next to it.

Part of my believes this is the game Ironton has been wanting all season and will come out on fire, but Prep's athletes are the real deal and I could see them winning.

Not alot of chatter for a game everyone has been anticipating, and what could be looked at as game of the year in division 5.
