Wurf was fumbling all over the place last weekend

In today's Columbus Dispatch 10 of 11 sports writers in their weekly poll picked Grandview.

Dispatch listed all-District 1st team - Grandview QB Henry Ohlinger (6-1, 205), DL Braddock Lusher (6-2, 220), DB Owen Nugent (5-9, 150).
Heights had 5 players special mention/honorable mention.
apparently one of the sports writers spent to much time at the varsity club

Kinda how games have gone for GV this year- defense makes big stops and Ohlinger does his work- not a one man team but have 2/3 studs and lot of roll players- next game for GV might be alot to overcome- have to go against a throwing QB that has good receivers so it will be uphill climb but have to play the game.
Just info on GV Defense- Colonel Crawford drove the ball on GV and 3 times Colonel Crawford had the ball 1st and goal at the 5 or closer and all 3 times GV kept them from scoring TD's but on one of those drives CC did kick a field goal. Thus GV was able to win 13-6.

Congrats to Fort Frye on a good year- know have had some injuries that kept from being a great year. Maybe GV and FF can match up next year with FF being at full strength.

I was told after CC's playoff win over Monroe Central it had 5 or 6 regulars out so maybe some were still on the shelf vs GV.

Yes. Fort Frye is not as strong as they have been. GV sounds like they're returning a lot next year - early favorites to win the region next season?

Difference came down to GH dude played through some pain while FFs threw in the towel and quit on his team.

That sucked but this Cadets team over achieved they were low on numbers. It wouldn’t have mattered if Clayton played or not Grandview was the better team.

Clayton had a torn labrum , tear in his bicep and a minor fracture in his humerus. If he could have played he would have have trust me.

This might be the dumbest and most inaccurate thing I have ever read on here!

1. Your saying this about an 17/18 year old kid who had a lot more than just a minor injury. 2 the fact is, him playing isn't remotly affecting the outcome of that game. GH has been anchored on their defense stopping the run. They did just that. GHs Dline lived in the backfield, it didnt matter who was carrying the ball.
