Harvest preps running schemes are horrendous and not well executed. They solely rely on making the athletic play. With 17, I think burg kept their rushing at bay earlier in year.ohbuckeye2 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2024 10:44 pmIronton held Harvest Prep to 43 rushing yards, but they were without #17RBH23 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2024 9:26 pmBurg has to stay committed to running the ball. In the first meeting, the game was tied with 5 minutes to go in the first half with Burg having the ball. Then the coaches from Burg lost their minds and started throwing it. Disastrous decision!!!Paulcrew wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2024 8:25 pm
the officiating is a given. a 14 sedvvs 1 seed
automatically will give burg advantage. last week was regional semi and I was shocked how bad the officiating was

line.. if burg can run the ball straight ahead and take advantage of officiating bias, they will stay close. if not, ironton’s obvious talent advantage will wear them down like week 1.
Burg went into the half down 17-7 with IHS getting the ball. That was the ballgame!
Burg should only pass out of play action, and only in situations where IHS would most likely expect run. Obvious passing situations? Forget it. Only bad things can happen if Burg tries to pass against Ironton when Ironton is expecting it.
The corners for Ironton are A plus. Ironton can run blitz a lot. Burg is not going to be afraid to pass it. They just have to call the right pass plays and they need to be caught.
