Of all 8 remaining I am taking Ironton. If teams are smart that's who they wanna avoid this season imo

Ironton had a sophomore #3 Mullins making his very first varsity start that game in place of Johnson and is the starting safety now

That line of scrimmage on both sides is mean. Deep. Fast to the ball. And the secondary is the best in D5 by a lot. And the linebackers are very good. And QB1 Biggs is playing and has been playing very inspired football. He absolutely TORCHED Prep.

And Mullins has became a honey badger for Ironton since. Kid is a Swiss army knife. I think he even took some snaps in clean up at Qb for Ironton when Edwards was banged up for a game. Kid is an all over the field guy. Seems to always find his way around the ball. Fumbles..Picks. Breakups. Sacks. Name it.

How come ironton posters keep saying that the only way that ironton won't win it all this year is if they don't play a clean game or shoot themselves in the foot ?? That's part of the game either you play good or you don't and usually when you play bad imo it's because the other team is just as good or better. And if a team has alot of penalties that's just young kids making mistakes it happens it's all part of the game!! And turnovers are cause by the other team 99% of the time it's part of the game just like coaching and preparing is part of the game. I am a huge Burg fan and if Burg gets beat friday night I will be rooting for ironton to win it all and show those teams up north that the southern part of the state has good football also !! But Go Burg play hard play smart and leave it all on the field so good luck Pirates and safe travels to all
