I believe South Point will be good hosts for this game. Looks like they have their ducks in a row to pull off a game of this magnitude. I think the press box is a little small. I feel Coal Grove’s new stadium would’ve been bigger to host this game (though it’s literally in Ironton’s backyard). Again, I still think Rock Hill should’ve hosted this game.

The game had to be played in Lawrence County 100%. With burg being the 14 seed , it can’t be Portsmouth or any other school around burg. It has to be in Lawrence county or closest to Lawrence county.

I heard the South Point AD was in the OHSAA ear about hosting this game and I believe that’s why they got it. He has down great work there
Showed the most interest, it’ll be ready to rock
They got that main road and the grass field has a gate to get out also
They will have a 3rd exit if they open the road right next to the Ohio State Patrol
It’ll be tight but I believe South Point will be ready.
This is the biggest event in South Point history lol if you think about it . I’m very happy for the community and school and I hope they leave a good impression

Burg will have to play stall ball. 3-4 yards a play , dominate the line of scrimmage and score after wasting a whole quarter , force ironton into bad decisions on offense and get a couple quick 3 n outs.
Great to see this matchup in the regional final.
35-10 is my prediction for the fighting tigers to come out on top.
Burg will battle for a quarter but ironton will be too much for them. I don’t think burg is better in any area of the game. For them to pull this off they will need to play the best game of the year , force a couple turnovers , it can happen. Especially in a rivalry , regional final match up. Love to see a barn burner but I think ironton comes out fast n puts them away by the 3rd

When it comes to personal fouls committed by Portsmouth, 1 is the number of real reasons why they happen (it’s tolerated) while 15 is the number of excuses BuckeyeBlood throws out.

One of the games next week 11/29 will be played at Chillicothe High School. Could be Ironton.....
