Agreed and think they beat the 85 Bears as well. What a joke. Lol

Rooting for Ironton. But for F sake comparing them to ML is a joke. ML beats Ironton 9x outta 10. Worry about LC or SR. Let ML win the D7 title AGAIN.

Not a snowballs chance in Hades.

Ever heard of Tavien St. Clair? Plays for Belafonte Ohio. He’s the QB, OSU commit class 2025, and the Rivals #1 overall prospect in the country. He couldn’t beat Coldwater, a team that has been getting steamrolled by ML.

So although IHS has some really nice players, they have no one even close to St Clair’s talent. And if Coldwater can best a talent like this, IHS would have no chance. As for ML, that’s not even possible.

You are correct , we are good but let’s get ahead of ourselves. The region was bad this year , we beat a good prep team , other than that it was horrible. Burg was bad and Jackson was down , I hope we’re not taking them lightly.

For now…

Going 1-0 Friday, is ALL that matters.

The IHS coaches implement that.
The FighTing Tigers Believe & Strive for that each week in this second season & it’s working.

O-O right now,

1-0 is Friday’s goal & I will buy into that too…

BECAUSE IT IS WORKING.

1-0 On friday & HOF TRIP awaits!!!

Any interested FB FAN’s out there who haven’t found this…

Evidentally, not part of the spectrum $10 PPV.

The video is through the Indian Lake youtube channel, so it looks like loosing team got approved for video rights, & tapped into “PIQUA” Neutral hosts loud SPEAKER…

Anyway, I’m viewing & at start of 2Q & WLS IS down 7-0.

Very “Vanilla” play so far both squads.

WLS Looks like they are fast to ball on D, but not much luck offensively yet.

End of game stats on maxpreps shows WLS -TD’s in 2Q, 3Q, & 4Q’s to get the get the 21-14 Win 2 advance.

I usually watch & compare with Roster I find on schools own Websites, or MaxPreps.com.

Maxpreps roster is all i can find on WLS & it does not match “PIQUA” announcer, who does an end of play loudspeaker recap each time.

His (ROSTER)player name/s for WLS DOES NOT MATCH MAX PREPS @ all- BUT DOES MATCH MAX PREPS ROSTER ON INDIAN LAKE.

Marion Local would beat Ironton probably every time they played the mac conference is just on another level just like Kirtland is a different breed but imo the reason why I think that ironton is so good this year especially on offense is the hiring of Kaskey os the offensive coordinator he one heck of a coach Burg has struggled ever since he was fired from Burg and it wasn't because he wasn't a good coach it was an off the field incident but ironton is lucky to have him and i think that ironton should win it all this year easily D5 is down this year so good luck to ironton bring home that trophy 🏆

Ironton will have to play the game and win to get anything. They got in a dogfight with the team from Canada and lost. They won't be taking anyone lightly. Some on here thought they would running clock Canada. You won your region whether the competition was "soft" or not. That's an accomplishment.

The game was last year, his junior year.

His team is D3. They finished the season 11-3 losing in the regional final 19-13 to Columbus Watterson who was eventually the state runner up.

So to answer your question, no, his team is not awful. This shows just how good these MAC schools are.

Not an Ironton fan, but I believe Friday will be a running clock. Region 20 is not good this year, and WSL, making their first state-semis appearance will be overwhelmed.

Now the LC and SR game will be fun to watch. According to Calpreps, IHS is a 12 point favorite over SR and 7 points over LC. Having watched both, I think those numbers should be swapped. Will see…

So by your eyes. LC and SR are both better than St. Edward. Considering you guys keep comparing Ironton and Canada. I watched Canada play St. Edward and was down 15-12 late in game with the ball inside St. Edward 10 yd line and QB fumbled an exchange. I have also watched LC and SR. Both those teams have been in tight games against teams who are suppose to be inferior to them this year. I think the Ironton hatred just comes out on this board from the Wheelersburg posters. Beginning of year it was all Harvest Prep is best team and they got close last year. Then Ironton shuts them down and running clocks them and it goes to another team. Constantly moving the Goal post. Ironton is gonna show up and compete. This team and program is different now and has learned a lot the last few years.
