I thought why he may not be on the list. 4 of Ironton's games were against non ohio teams. Im wondering if that had a bearing because he should of made the list.

There are many great players across the state-to discredit the nominees(high school kids) isn’t my MO.
The Tigers players are penalized in this case by having a super surrounding cast. It shows by still practicing on Thanksgiving.

Shaun Terry needs to be on the list. Ironton doesn’t score near the amount of points without him. He’s a generational talent.

Was hoping Terry would make it, especially for how talented he/the Tigers are. Add in that he’s going to Missouri and I thought that would help.

Mizzou likely does not have the same level of acclaim for the writers as Notre Dame, tOSU or an impending national champion (Enis - Penn State.) If he was still going to South Bend, it would’ve caught the eye and got him over the line for finalist contention. He’s not the only senior WR in this state going to the SEC next spring, know what I’m saying?

Whould have won it to had the Cincinnati writers not voted him last. Giving Kiner the award a Cincinnati kid. Not taking anything away from Kiner he's a great player.

Id say more than likely those guys up for Mr Football are probably in Division-1 while Im sure these guys are looking at D-1 colleges. Big difference
