Zane Trace is 2-0, but they have struggled on the offensive end with the injuries. Their defense has been pretty stout though.

Waverly lost Haynes for the season and Hobbs is out for a couple weeks - both seniors.
Tigers will start sophomores Teagan Hurt, Gunnar Myers, Sawyer Myers, Landyn Russell & freshman Kage Alexander.

Oh wow that’s very disappointing for the tigers, but none the less a very solid starting 5 Alexander is the real deal.

Hate to hear that about Haynes, for Waverly the offense is going to be ran through Russell they’ll go as he goes.

Is SOSA doing the livestream of this one Saturday night? ... nothing like going to watch one game , then being able to watch a 2nd or 3rd on the SOSA feed ... they do a great job with their feed ...

SOSA is doing the stream for this one, yes. They posted it as their game of the week.

Not sure the Haynes loss will affect Waverly much. He was in the rotation but not the starting 5. Only had 1 year of competitive basketball under his belt.

Should be a fun one! ZT coming off the great SVC run last year and hot at 2-0 to kickoff the season.
Waverly with the highly anticipated home opener and some exciting talent.

SOSA is not broadcasting this game Saturday night. Just simply full-coverage updates, photos and interviews.

We'll be broadcasting Fairland @ North Adams this Saturday night.

ZT lighting it up behind the arc. Carrying over from the Piketon game last night.

I can't believe ZT scored 33 points in a half.
Waverly does not guard very well.

I’ll eat Crow on this one. I thought ZT would cool off after the Piketon game. ZT bigs played well as well tonight.
Waverly looked very sluggish tonight.

Zane Trace 56
Waverly 34

Final

ZT goes to 4-0 with their best player and a key bench player out. Waverly looks like they are going to have some growing pains. Good young talent that needs to defend better. Same with the offensive end. Just my opinion watching this game.

ZT lit it up from deep hitting somewhere around 10 three balls. This team is solid. Veteran squad with kids that take what they are given and are very sound with their game plan. They are confident and I believe they will beat Unioto and snatch the solo SVC crown.

Waverly was not at their best. Difficult to see what the game plan was. Sat in a zone for 3 quarters while ZT let it fly. I believe they will be a better team in games to come.
