Really good game to watch. Shaun Terry is insane, excited to see what he can possibly do at Missouri. Congrats to Ironton well deserved.

It didn't take long for the bad mouthing to start. I'm a Pirate fan and I think it's pathetic. Kaskey the Pirate that got ran off called a heck of a game. I don't know what he got ran off for and don't care. Glad Trevon and his team finally got one. Heck of a person and a coach.

Yh8awinner, do I have to remind you that you had a DL from Ironton, a QB from Ashland, and others from neighboring districts when you won it.

So you are calling out one kid for 2 different seasons 2 years apart is the same thing? I figured you all were smarter than that to even think of comparing. 😂

Is Terry an Ironton kid? Not trying to pick a fight. I don't know.

Nope, I know a teacher that taught him at SOUTH POINT in junior high.

Come on, man. Sour grapes are a rough look.

Congrats Ironton…you have put in the work and deserve this.*

Yh8awinner is a jealous whiner. The burg ALWAYS has the best of Scioto county. We are STATE champs. You are an also-ran loser.
To those burg fans showing class and congratulating the Tigers - thanks. That shows some class - something that Yh8awinner doesn't have. *You - Yh8awinner - didn't refute anything I said.

No sour grapes here. I just get sick of hearing Ironton people pound their chest when they know they don't have what it takes in that staff to develop what they have to work with to win a state championship.

I heard them say today Marion Local and Coldwater all home town kids. Marion Local beat Coldwater last game of the year. Actually shut them out. They could win D6 and D7. Again, to get there is one thing but to win is another. Great job Ironton. I always heard Burg cheated in 2017. OHSAA investigated and said no. All the things that surround high school sports. Crazy crazy.

Massillon Washington beat that team from Canada like 45 to 7 and called the dogs off in the 2nd half so must not have been a very good juco team
Yes, but Massillon is a strong D III team. 😀
Clarkson North is an average team at best. Massillon Washington is a DII powerhouse, not DIII. That said, I’ve seen multiple posts stating that Ironton could possibly beat any team in Ohio, regardless of division. I’ve rarely seen anything more absurd on this site. Anyone looking at this game without Ironton blinders on sees this game for what it is, an uphill battle for Ironton. I said it earlier and I’ll say it again, my heart says 21-20, Fighting Tigers bring it home. My brain says 42-20, Liberty Center’s o-line and d-line take over the game. I hope my brain is wrong.
Thankful my heart was right! Go Fighting Tigers!

We did it! Oh man I couldn’t believe we fumbled there. But we got it right back. Terry took over again. What a game, the 35 year drought is over! Congrats Ironton Fighting Tigers!

Ill bet you a $1,000 or more right now that they score, put that money where your mouth is if you’re so confident.
You’re on. Now we’ll see if you have the balls to pay up because it’s a lock for me. No way Liberty Central scores on Ironton today.
Hey @sportsfan2015 where’s my $1,000. You gonna pay up?
