Marion Local or Coldwater would win that match-up.

From what I overheard last night both schools had been contacted in some fashion and both turned turned them down

Wouldn’t shock me, those schools don’t have any need to travel that far and give up a home game to do it. The gates at those games are incredible for the MAC so why would they need to travel 3 hrs? They don’t

They aren’t open the week of the Ironton Classic.

I know this post is about the Classic, but the conversation was for any open week ML or CW had available.

they didn’t need to turn down home game. Ironton was willing to travel to
either school for a game. They weren’t interested. They don’t need Ironton in their life. The MAC is tough enough and Ironton needs them more than they need Ironton

I like see Ironton bring in one of them teams from Indiana the Cincy schools schedule for the classic or one of them larger teams from Tennessee Nashville region wouldn’t be a bad drive from either area 6 hour or so drive and decent competition.
