Was that also burgs largest margin of defeat in playoff history?
Was it?

Has any other team put two running clocks on burg in the same season?
Have they?

If you'd spend as much energy being positive as you do at being negative, your glass would be running over vs half empty. You gain nothing, except for some sort of self-serving gratification, by being an antagonist. What's the point you've been trying to make the past 3 or 4 years? Come clean! State your grievances and bury the crap.

Ironton has a realistic chance at winning the DV title this year. Enjoy the ride!

6 of last 7 by my count since 2019 including playoffs, no 2020 game due to COVID
Burg won 8 straight from 2013-2018 including 2 playoff wins

How damaging is Ironton winning this to Burgs morale and their program as a whole? How will it affect their recruiting? Also, will the Burg posters on here, the ones who clearly despise Ironton, make a congratulatory post? All questions that inquiring minds would like answered.

He’s back. Thought the moderators banned you for life? Better be careful or you’ll be tossed off once again. LOL!!

Now that Ironton has finally gotten over the hump, let’s go through what it took:
- Getting Terry from South Point; give SP the assist for this win. Without Terry, no chance they win a title.
- Getting a coach from Burg. Finally an OC who brought discipline to the IHS team that struggled to find it. Kasky showed Ironton how to actually win the big game.
- Relentless recruiting by Pendleton. Excellent job!
- Complete disregard for academics and all other sports.

Now what can end this run:
- Not being able to recruit another Terry.
- Losing the Burg OC.
- Pendleton, who is obviously open to other jobs, leaving.
- Those that work in a Ironton schools and those that have worked with Ironton schools deciding to talk to OSHAA about what has been done to get kids into the program.
- The financial costs of the program. Pendleton is struggling to fill his schedule:
> Has burned bridges with many local schools.
> Turned down by the MAC schools.
> Laughed off the phone by Ignatius.
> Having to beg Burg to stay on their schedule, even to the point of giving up a home game just to meet Burg’s demands.

So to IHS: congrats on the win. A steep price has been paid with regards to the future, so enjoy it. And as for the IHS trolls, it’s great to see how Burg lives in your minds. LMAO!!

No damage to morale at all.

You don’t understand that Burg strives for excellence in ALL sports and in academics. It’s why they have such success. This must be difficult for someone who has no interest in academics and is not serious about any sport except football.

As for recruiting, Burg doesn’t. This is a non-issue.

Finally, I wished IHS luck on a prior thread, but of course a number of IHS fans lack class. This has been pointed out on other sites by those from other schools experiencing IHS fans for the first time.

Burg ran off their coach.
Ironton still had a chance to win even if they did not have Terry.
Irontons scheduling will be fine.
And the academics are fine at Ironton.
As far as Wheelersburg I wish they would get off of zironton’s schedule all you people do is cry non stop.

- Burg parted ways with the coach for reasons that Ironton obviously had no issues with. That said, he is a good OC, and IHS definitely needed that.
- Ironton does not win yesterday without Terry. He was the offense as well as playing a major role on D with the int.
- Ironton currently cannot fill 4 spots on their 2025 schedule and has been turned down by many schools outside of the area. This problem will get worse; Ironton simply resides in an area most teams won’t travel. Plus, local schools are refusing to play them.
- Ironton’s current academic standing is “Needs support to meet state standards.” That is very bad!! In fact, it’s one of the worst scores in the entire area!
- Pendleton disagrees with you on removing Burg, hence why he is accepting Burg moving the game and Burg demanding next year’s game to be at Burg. It’s a big gate that he cannot afford to lose. Reality is that Ironton needs Burg more than Burg needs Ironton.

Burgers, you can skip this post if you like. I want to say something to all fellow Ironton posters. You may as well give up trying to communicate with burg folks (although it is fun). They are so arrogant and delusional that they will never have a grip on reality. Facts...
*burg always gets kids from neighboring districts
*burg is an area power; Ironton is a state power
*without the Vass years, the series would be even more lopsided
*Ironton could have very well won without Terry (he sure helped, though, to say the least)
*Ironton definitely still puts a running clock on xheelerburg without Terry
*Transfers do indeed help. But, Ironton still has more homegrown talent than burg
