Every team can have an off night, and the Bulldogs obviously did not bring their "A" game. Waterford capitalized on that.

I am sure that the Dogs will regroup and continue on towards all of their goals for this season. Many things can be learned in defeat. I have no doubt that they will bounce back and get back on a roll.
This site has turned to younger posters that just log on to troll. Every new poster is going to have that potential label for a while. Your posts are positive towards your team. Welcome
Thank you Ironman92. I am an admitted "homer" for the Bulldogs, but I don't believe in saying negative things towards anyone.

I enjoy a spirited debate, but it does seem like there are some on here that just like to "troll", as you say
We are all homers to differing extents. I’m a homer but I’ve also been chastised for giving opponents to much positive credit.

Stick around and hopefully others will disagree/debate with your posts in a little more respectful way.

When you celebrate a team winning by 90+ against an overmatched opponent you put the target on your own back, then proceed to try to put a flawed AD on a pedestal you compound it. How and to be clear I am not a young poster, nor new to this site, ( 2010 ) I have just posted more due to an injury that has kept me off work.
Also I am proud grandparent of a female athlete in the Athens school system. In fact I have grandchildren in 6 different school districts in SEO.

Lifting someone up is not the same as placing them on a pedestal. We are all flawed.

I am sincerely sorry to hear about your injury and pray for a speedy and full recovery

Waterford's girl team is in a place like Ironton football team. When you keep on winning there are always people that will talk them down. Teams that keep winning will always be good for SEO.

Coach Close has been to the state tournament 7 times in 10 years, and people don’t realize how good of a coach he really is. Many on this site want Waterford to fail, but it looks like another deep tournament run is in the works again. Great coach, great players, great fan base, and great program.
Coach Close is as good as there is in the State of Ohio.

You think he’s as good as the Athens coach? I think a wife who goes by the name grandad would argue that the Athens coach is better.
