D3 — The Barn (Ohio Expo Center)
D4, D5 — The Convo (Ohio University)
D6, D7 — The Crapper (Ohio Dominican)
Also noticed there is a specific split session for D6 at ODU, but not D7.

Ugh...wish they would've had D6/D7 at Convo as well. I'd rather them play at the Barn as at least getting a seat not an issue there.*formerfcfan wrote: Sun Jan 05, 2025 6:03 pm D3 — The Barn (Ohio Expo Center)

It's kinda ridiculous that they still have Ohio Dominican host games; there's several other options way better. Wonder who holds the skin in the game there..?art_vandelay wrote: Tue Jan 07, 2025 11:12 amUgh...wish they would've had D6/D7 at Convo as well. As a Webster fan I would rather D7 be played at either the convo or Barn

Re: 2025 Regional Tournament Sites
Agree, they should play 6 and 7 at the Convo. The OHSAA has gone out of their way to accommodate the Central District. The Central only sends 1 representative to the regional in these divisions yet they get to host. Besides that, the Convo is a better facility by miles.art_vandelay wrote: Tue Jan 07, 2025 11:12 amUgh...wish they would've had D6/D7 at Convo as well. 100% agree, the Convo makes the most sense by far, and you don't have to worry about the seating. Any school's fan base from the southeast district will pack out ODU.4out1in wrote: Wed Jan 08, 2025 9:32 amAgree, they should play 6 and 7 at the Convo. Any Central District teams you're looking to avoid? Or not thought that far ahead yet?Jeeps06 wrote: Tue Jan 07, 2025 7:17 pm As a Webster fan I would rather D7 be played at either the convo or Barn

Just to throw in my 2 cents... Not really looking to avoid any teams, but if the Jeeps manage to stay healthy all season they'll be hard to handle for any D7 team. But anything could happen between now and then, there's still alot basketball to be played before tournament time. But the teams to beat out of the central will more than likely be Shekinah Christian and Northside Christian and in the east Catholic Central and Bishop Rosecrans.

SW, regardless of who takes the court at ODU, will be sizable favorites against the field.JeepNation26 wrote: Wed Jan 08, 2025 3:10 pmJust to throw in my 2 cents... Best team in the Central, JMO, is Patriot Prep. Win over Malvern (what’s understood doesn’t need to be explained) and they throttled a Fisher that has wins vs Logan Elm, Rosecrans and Westfall in pocket. Expect Patriot to take the line that goes to ODU, and not the one to western Ohio as they got shut down by Jackson Center in their last rodeo out there.
Rosecrans has high upside, but the issue with the Bishops is two-fold. One is the simple fact that even a district absent Hiland in the path isn’t a given, and the second is they can only go as far as their frosh point can take them. FC was able to clamp him, slow him down and from there they were able to stymie the halfcourt in the second half (game ended in a 23-4 run over the final 13 minutes.)

All district finals in the SE are at the Convo. Semi’s are at different locations. I’ve seen the list, just can’t remember the exact locations now.Rza1 wrote: Wed Jan 08, 2025 11:00 pm Has anyone heard the plans for district games? Just wondering..

Re: 2025 Regional Tournament Sites
Thanks! As someone who mostly follows the Central District it's always interesting to see how it's viewed from a farther point of view. FC Fan rightfully pointed out that Patriot Prep is another team to watch in the Central due to their great athleticism and some big wins already.JeepNation26 wrote: Wed Jan 08, 2025 3:10 pmJust to throw in my 2 cents... The Central seems better and way deeper than previous years, but unlikely to topple the Jeeps or Russia from the Southwest District.

Answered my own question, but found the list https://ohsaaweb.blob.core.windows.net/ ... FH7jrWk%3Ddanicalifornia wrote: Thu Jan 09, 2025 12:03 amAll district finals in the SE are at the Convo. Re: 2025 Regional Tournament Sites
parking is not great and its 2 lane road to get there once off 670- so that is the biggest issues- the arena seats 2000 with equal on each side so its not a big venue but I think its good to watch a game but usually crowded because of the small capacity. One reason think the OHSAA is using Ohio Dominican for D6 and D7 Regionals is that they may use Ohio University for State Semi-Finals against the Southwest Regional winners- just a thought.
