Nothing on the school website … at the door it is … is there going to be a freshman game ? Or JV/Varsity only?

Warren pretty much exposed the falcons as only having two guys who can get it done, 3 depending on if shoemaker doesn’t get in early foul trouble and can keep up.

As long as the Jeeps don’t fall into the reckless transition game minford runs, they’ll be fine.
If you've seen one Minford game, perhaps I understand your comment about "having only two guys". It is true the Falcons rely very heavily on two players to score but their role players are better than some people seem to think. As I've said before, this game could be an absolute classic. But notwithstanding illness or injury, I expect Minford to win by 7-10 points.

After watching both teams , I feel Minford has the better team. On any given night anything can happen.

MInford recently has not been playing their best basketball after sneaking out a win against Valley at home. Although it seems that Valley is starting to play their best basketball, that game along with how good Webster has been playing makes it feel like Webster has a legitimate shot at stealing this one. If they do however drop it I like the chances of them at home. Minford however does have the better basketball team overall

I’ve went to Minford 4 times this season. Webster’s next 5 guys are way better.

Interesting perspective. I believe Minford has the best two players in the Southeast district. Foul trouble could play a role in this one. Should be an unbelievable game to be in the gym.

Minford might have the best 2 players in this game(debatable). But after that it's all Jeeps with the exception of Shoemaker being maybe the 5th or 6th. If you take away the best 2 players on each team then SW will win 9/10 times. There isn't any fall off from our 3rd guy to our 7th. But that's not the case, so there is some work to be done if they wanna win on Friday. Too close to call, and there's also the potential of one team having a bad night and getting destroyed. They split last year and I think they'll do the same this year

Jeeps will definitely have to come in and try and set the tempo first in this one. It'll be Roberts toughest test of the season so far, having to deal with Kayser and Shoemaker when he comes in the post. Jeeps will have to win the rebound battle and limit Minford's 2nd chance baskets and cut in half either Montgomery or Kayser ppg, can't let them both score 25+. The Jeeps defense is good enough to lock down Minford's role players, but with that being said the Jeeps will need one of their role players to step up big... either Barnard or Stephens will need to put up close to 20 with Shupert and Roberts getting their avg. ppg to put the Jeeps on top in this matchup.

No question, either team can win this one although I see Minford with the distinct advantage. Regarding the comment about the "best 2 players in the Southeast" the question is this: If not Kayser and Montgomery, who else in the district is better? Not saying nobody else can be considered in the conversation, but who would some of those players be?

Do we know who the officiating crew will be ? whoever it is I hope the magnitude of the game, the status ( 2 of the best teams in the SE district no matter the division) of the teams on the court, warrant this one to be called as would be in a district/regional game - we all know that we have some outstanding officiating crews in Southern & Southeast Ohio - THIS game should have one of them ... set the tone early so both teams can adjust, then be consistent for 4 quarters ... I'm psyched! Southern Ohio should be too! AND IT'S ONLY ROUND #1 !!

... I could take my '75 VW bus out of hibernation for the Winter ... park it between South Webster & Minford for the rest of the regular season ... just taking in the menu of games remaining on either teams schedule - I could watch some of the best basketball in all of the SE district...

#1 for South Webster. Only averaging 25 and 10 a game. If there there wasnt 4 other guys on the team pouring in double figures, I’d expect 35-40 a game regular, but he doesn’t have to.

Also didn’t Stadelman just put it on minford? Warren is SE.

This would be a good time to learn of how college recruiting is going for some of SE Ohio's best players. Roberts, Stadelman, others?
