SW should handle business, honestly by 20+. But, it is senior night for the Tigers and I do believe they have the ability to hang with most area teams WHEN they are on their A game. Unfortunately, they haven’t been for a lot of games this season. Waverly struggles consistently scoring, will score 20 one quarter then 6 the next. You can see flashes of what could be but it is not reliable at this time. Webster is a very good ball club and I think they have the ability to take control of this game early if they please.
Waverly was able to be neck and neck with Minford after 1 quarter, then collapsed. If this one is to stay close, Waverly will need a complete game and the ball to bounce their way a time or two.

Waverly will have a difficult time scoring on Webster, Webster is rarely caught playing behind and is very good about making you work for what you get. I could see scoring staying in the 30's for Waverly. Webster may lack a little bit of size at times vs Waverly but they have 2-3 guards that will match up well with Alexander.
I've heard/seen a lot of "drama" coming from Waverly the last two weeks. Will they have their normal line up tonight or be missing two kids?? I will be in attendance but I guess curiosity is getting the best of me...

Waverly won't be missing anyone, all the drama is drama in the stands not drama on the court. SW by 20, I don't see the youngsters for Waverly slowing the pace down and limiting the turnovers. Probably right about where Waverly will score I'd say 37bobcats94 wrote: Tue Feb 04, 2025 9:40 am Waverly will have a difficult time scoring on Webster, Webster is rarely caught playing behind and is very good about making you work for what you get. Waverly is a shooters gym. Look for 8+ three pointers from the jeeps tonight. Also look for Swanker putting the moves on Waverlys number 1 fan.

Jeeps should be ok on the road, but also wouldn't be surprised to see the young Tigers stick around for awhile. I'll say Webster 68-55. Waverly Downtown gym still my favorite high school gym to watch a game in SEOhio*

If the Jeeps come ready to play I can't see this one being any closer than 15 points. I just see the Jeeps' defense being too much for the young Tigers to handle. The Tigers are only averaging right at 45 ppg vs. SOC3 teams; I don't see them scoring anymore than that against the Jeeps, I'd be shocked if they do. Also don't see them being able to slow the Jeeps down and keep them under 60 either.

Great break down. Webster will be tough to minimize. They have put up some points against the bottom half of the SOCIII.YouCantBeSerious wrote: Tue Feb 04, 2025 9:24 am SW should handle business, honestly by 20+. Then again, Webster leaving the county they’ve always felt so warm & fuzzy in and heading North to Pike County. Should be an interesting match up.

Webster comfortably by 25, but I do think the first half will be close. Waverly has some nice pieces that are maturing and getting better each game.
Hands down, when the gym is mostly full, the best high school environment in our area IMO! The old Holiday Classic games were a blast to take in.

For as much as they act like they are the greatest fans in se Ohio, they don’t show when there teams are struggling. Or at least when the mom’s are going scorched earth on the coaches on facebookThe Ghost of Swanker wrote: Tue Feb 04, 2025 6:13 pm JV game
