SHORE/SURe the trifecta has been reached once again by the fine AD at GA. Jarrells plumming has teamed up with the Christian roofing co and Crisenberry electric to lay the foundation of the new trade school football program the AD has put in playce. With those 3 on the job the program’s got better protection than a QB in max protect!!!Just need that lanscaper coach now to help bury the compettion. Might win them award next year for smalll business of tha year through the chamber of commercse!!!

You need to worry about the English department first and foremost. Once you can spell at a graduating rate then you can comment on sports. Kind of like how you weren't able to play high school sports because of a .5 GPAJosephLeeB9 wrote: Wed Feb 05, 2025 6:35 pm SHORE/SURe the trifecta has been reached once again by the fine AD at GA. Good luck coach, for the paultry salary you’re getting you deserve more respect just for taking the job. It’s obviously not for the money!

I just don't understand why everyone has to hate on coaches say they are terrible etc. So what some are good some are bad some better than others. Just because they can coach or not coach doesn't make them a good or bad person. They have families etc just leave them alone and mind your own business. If you can't be nice then just be silent. I don't know this guy and don't care one way or another but these are coaches trying and doing it for not much money. It's not professionals sports so they are gonna make mistakes.

Re: Gallia HC out?
I think it’s more about the fact that the schools in Gallia County keep hiring duds when they have a coach in the area who has and still can build a strong program. I mean we’re not Vinton County. So why keep hiring these guys that claim to be proven winners and the answer to success just to be disappointed time after time. Meigs is another example of falling for the used car salesman pitch and then looking for another coach in a few short years. Throw Wellston in there too. But in Gallia County, a gentleman named Jack could get things rolling while grooming a young assistant to take over when he’s done and they could have several years of success. Seems simple. But these powers that be think they’re so smart that they’re going to discover the next Urban Meyer. Gallia County is notoriously difficult on outsiders to say the least, what’s wrong with a hire that’s familiar with the current roster and has had a hand in building the youth program? Keep the numbers up, create a good culture and in no time you’ll have a program to compete year in and year out. Y’all are overthinking it.

Carter did have a good team handed to him, but as for the Ironton losses, they were significantly more competitive than the blowouts the last two years Penrod was there. Add in a playoff win over a (much younger and less formidable) Licking Valley team that had booted Penrod's best team from the playoffs.svac83 wrote: Sat Dec 07, 2024 6:07 pm This coach wasn't ran out of town. Basically walked in quit his teaching position and resigned and left.
He was set up to fail from the beginning. Why would you hire a guy to run a program that had never even been a coordinator only a position coach.
Seems to me like he was hired kind of out of spite.
People say Carter rebuilt the program wasn't coach Penrod like 33-17. District coach of the year? Did Carter build that much or finish what he was handed.
Didn't win a league championship didn't beat ironton.
And you can say he was ran out of town but I will say at worst was asked to leave before he was ready to leave. He had no intentions of being here long term.
Next coach will do fine if hired for the right reason
At worst, he took over an airplane, mid-flight and kept it steady.

Buddy Moore? Maybe 20 years ago. They ran the last guy off for being too hard on the Jimmys, Buddy wouldn’t get his first check cashed.

Certain folks in the community need to let the coach COACH. That's why he's the coach. That's his job. It's in the name. But certain folks like R.T. can't get that through their thick skulls. A coach isn't supposed to be your best buddy.. He's supposed to be tough on you and get the best out of you.. Better than you knew you could do.

Give this guy a chance. Gallia had some nice looking skill guys to start the season but injuries bit them like a piranha feeding frenzy. Young team that needs a steady coaching presence to develop. Hopefully this cat stays a while and the kids take to him. Too much tradition at GA to keep running coaches off or hiring a new one every other year. This isn't St. Edward. State titles every year aren't expected. What is expected is a competitive team that plays hard, plays physical, and plays disciplined football. I'm hoping this coach gets a real chance to build something.

Re: Gallia HC out?
Has the new coach actually been officially announced yet? The only thing I’ve seen is “Dalton Plumber a peewee coach.” Is that accurate? Or is it still double top secret?MisterGalliaGuy2016 wrote: Tue Feb 11, 2025 5:06 pm Give this guy a chance.
