Turns out Myles and Kayser were to much for the ole Jeeps. Congrats to the Falcons. Between the offensive rebounds and the dynamic duo of Kayser and Myles won the game. But, don't get me wrong though the Jeeps are a very tough team and I think they are gonna make a run to state in the next few months.

Jeeps battled hard. I had Falcons by 10, this games more competitive than the 9-point margin would indicate. Nothing tonight changes my mind saying Kayser and Montgomery the best duo in Southeast Ohio — any division. And clearly the best two individual college prospects in the region as well.

The best teams I’ve ever seen in this conference are the ‘06 SW team (state champs) and the ‘07 Burg team (back to back state semi finals) … Each of these teams lost a conference game in those seasons.

I’m pretty sure Waverly’s state semi final team a few years ago lost a conference game as well.

Therefore…Let’s keep it interesting!

Webster to state. Waverly first round exit. Webster might not have beat anyone but every game they won was a blowout except North Adams. And most of those games that were blown out Webster held the ball for 5 minutes the last quarter. But yeah we’re trash.

Good season Jeeps. 0-0 now. No shame in this loss tonight. Best game of the season for the jeeps in my opinion. Everyone played great and the aggressiveness was there. Minfords just too good I guess. Keysers ability to get his own miss is the best I’ve ever seen in 20 years of watching hoops. Too bad Eli was about to bleed to death.

Foul discrepancy will be lopsided due to the end of the game fouls where SW was trying to stop the clock. So not a good tool to use ! Minford is just the Better Team.

Not saying they aren’t the better team. Isn’t a D5 team #2 in the state supposed to beat a smaller D7 school? Just seemed like SW aggression went away early in the 4th when key players started to pick up more fouls. Old Norm teams wouldn’t have let up on aggression. Also, Pulling ER from the game with 2 mins left just because he had 4 fouls was absurd. One thing I’ve noticed SW is not a 4th quarter team. This might hurt them going into the tourney if they struggle one game and find themselves in a tight game.
