Don't overlook Malvern. That coach Tucci is one of the best in the state.
Those Hiland boys will be hard to beat.

Monroe Central would be +28 over Crooksville in Vegas.

I agree, Malvern and Monroe Central should be a great game, but I don't see either of them being able to beat Hiland.

Would the hypothetical Malvern and Monroe Central game be played at a neutral site?

It'll be a neutral site, but they haven't announced where at yet.

Despite my negative post I still do believe in the Noles. Good luck tomorrow night against Crooksville

Noles cover Vegas' +28 spread and take it 73-33. Slow start but turned it on after being down 16-15 I believe and dominated the rest of the way. Crooksville hit several shots early and #12 had a great game. They had a couple boys get in foul trouble, most notably their big man who seemed to do a little of everything. Tucker Howell had a very nice game, lots of uncharacteristic missed layups by a few different players though. Shot well from 3 and had well rounded production. Not the caliber game that is going to take down Hiland, but not their best either. Malvern won 60-41 over Ft Frye I believe, so we will get to see the MC Malvern match up as expected. Cambridge/Meadowbrook seem to be logical locations as each are near an hour from each school and easy drives.

You described the game perfectly. I didn’t think MC played particularly well. Crooksville just didn’t have good ball handlers and gave up a lot of turnovers that allowed MC to pull away. Crooksville played decent in the first quarter and a half.

MC started hitting 3’s in the second half. Their free throwing percentage had to be horrendous or they would have won by over 50.
