Nah, watch the video. The kid from Fairland starts it.
Which video? I didn't see it clearly in the SOSA Stream because of how the camera panned out.
Burg players are jumping around and then the camera pans towards the middle and you can see the Fairland player push the Burg player. It’s plain as day.
I see what you're saying. That's definitely not the start of that fight.

I have no doubt fairland likely through the first shove after some likely trash talk, but that shove is not the fight starter lol. Prater was already running to them before that shove.

Waverly Local School live cam on YouTube stayed on fight from start to finish (not sure if it still up).

First Fairland player through handshake line turns around when going by Burg bench player (presumably said something to him). Fairland players shoves Burg bench player and all hell breaks loose. Both Burg and Fairland players land some takedowns from there. Burg manager ends up hurt in the melee.

Unfortunate incident, but surprised it doesn’t happen more in postgame handshake lines.*

It was a great game. Buchanan is a bucket. He was off in the first half, give credit to burgs zone, they frustrated the dragons. Fourth quarter they just let Buchanan have the ball and go at it.

Not many gave the Burg kids a chance. Fairland bought into the hype. Burg throttled them for 3 quarters and allowed Fairland back into the game. Fairland had their chances in the final minutes but Burg held on.

Fairland, having been bested by a supposed weaker opponent, let their emotions dictate post-game shenanigans. They were embarrassed by the abrupt end to their season. Boyz will be boyz!! It's unfortunate but not an earth shattering event.

What really happened few know!

Great game despite the unfortunate ending… I didn’t give my Pirates much of a chance going into this one… I should know better

What's the OHSAA's rule when it comes to players fighting and discipline for their next game? (If any). Will any of Wheelersburg's players be ineligible because of post-game fighting? Honest question - I really don't know.

Yeah I think there is 2 or 3 that could be possibly suspended

If all of what's been said is true...(punches thrown and a coaching staff member injured and taken out by squad) then I just don't see how no players end up getting suspended from this.

The unfortunate part is the parents running onto the floor and trying to fight kids. Kids getting into it with kids is one thing, but as you said, not earth shattering. However, mom’s throwing haymakers is a completely different category.

Does that include the mother throwing punches?

WOW!! I'd say that would be criminal.
