Big City Catholic Schools

Post by TheOHIOBully »

After Bishop Hartley handled Steubenville with ease, I wondered why all Big City Catholic Programs are not just put in D1.
I know it goes off of enrollment, but c’mon.

Example
Hartley pulls talent from these schools
Columbus South
Africintric
Waltnut Ridge
Independence
Marion Franklin
Bexley Schools
Groveport
Canal
Obetz
and Reynoldsburg schools

*I know there is a cutoff line between Desales and Bishop Ready, Bishop Watterson, and St. Charles.
I might be a little off on schools

Thoughts ?

Here we go. Cristo Rey Columbus is in the same boat...should they? I'm no fan of Catholic schools, but with open enrollment all metro schools pretty much have the same opportunity. Build a strong program and the better players want to go there. Is it unfair? Probably. But what can you do?

Competitive balance will move them up before they get moved down. I have no issue with it
