Thank you! I am still getting over the flu and I felt like I was missing something. Sorry about that!

Re: Ironton Football 2025 Schedule
Great schedule Shelby Valley isn’t a good team but will be a good way to get their feet wet so to say.
I can see a 9-1 or maybe 8-2 record the Virginia team will be good and so will the NY team.
Don’t know a lot about the but they are decent teams.
Looking forward to a strong year from these Tigers

Solid schedule for sure! Interesting that McNicholas plays Burg week 2 and Ironton week 3…. They were very good last season and were D3Valenth wrote: Wed Feb 19, 2025 7:03 pm What an interesting Mix! HERE IS THE COMPLETE SCHEDULE

Re: Ironton Football 2025 Schedule
Was curious how this would come out. 4 games of teams from 4 states. Luckily the 2 neighboring states are in the road. Eager to see how Ironton continues doing their schedule as an independent in the future. Also like the pick up of McNicholas

Re: Ironton Football 2025 Schedule
I concur. McNicholas is a very good program and should be a fantastic test for Ironton. Their OL will have good size, and they have one of the best sophomore TE prospects in the state (good basketball player too) in Garrit Gunter (6'7 225). He's a legit D1 kid who can go up and get it.Oldtimer55 wrote: Thu Feb 20, 2025 2:38 pmSolid schedule for sure! Interesting that McNicholas plays Burg week 2 and Ironton week 3…. I'll be at this game. Nice to see the Tigers in the Cincy area.

Canisius out NY was 9-3 last season and Liberty Christian out of VA was 14-0 so the Tigers will be tested.

They will also be tested with a 4-6 Pikeville’s little brother Shelby Valley and a 1-9 Gallia Academy team.Zahns Corner wrote: Wed Mar 05, 2025 9:10 pm Canisius out NY was 9-3 last season and Liberty Christian out of VA was 14-0 so the Tigers will be tested.

It should be about the same competition as playing any team from the mighty SOC.Pirate1745 wrote: Wed Mar 05, 2025 11:51 pmThey will also be tested with a 4-6 Pikeville’s little brother Shelby Valley and a 1-9 Gallia Academy team.Zahns Corner wrote: Wed Mar 05, 2025 9:10 pm Canisius out NY was 9-3 last season and Liberty Christian out of VA was 14-0 so the Tigers will be tested.

Re: Ironton Football 2025 Schedule
All depends on when the Ironton coach decides to leave. He only gets a 1 year contract each year which is probably what he wants anyhow. If he gets a better offer, he will fly the coop like he did at West. I am sure one of the other 17 assistant coaches would step in. Only a 2-3 work in the district as well. Problem is you have no conference to rely on scheduling and nobody is going to let you back in a conference with all the move in’s you get from their school and area schools around. Enjoy your state championship now, it is short lived.Jeaux Burreaux wrote: Thu Feb 20, 2025 7:15 pm Was curious how this would come out. 4 games of teams from 4 states.
