You guys complain about absolutely everything. Places like ECO are smaller than most HS gyms. Continuing Field House is first and foremost a public facility that is not a college facility. Also, Portsmouth vs Fairland girls played at Ohio University. But keep putting your best lies forward.

the ECO CENTER can hold up to 4,000 people when the second level bleachers are pulled down.

The whole premise of this article is based on bad information. It claims no boys games are being held in high school gyms but Canton Fieldhouse IS Canton McKinley's high school gym and will host 4 games.

The Canton Memorial Field House is own by the Canton City Schools. Yes, McKinley plays there, but it is "Old School" and the Mecca of NE Ohio High School Basketball. My guess is that they can get around 5,000 in the Field House.

The old Final Four setup was over the course of three days. You could do a new Final Four setup over four days.

Thursday - D5, D6, D7 semi finals starting at 8:30am, 11am, 1:30pm, 4:00pm, 6:30pm, and 9pm.
Friday - D2, D3, D4 semi finals, same start times.
Saturday - D1 semi finals starting at 9:00am and 11:30am, D5, D6, D7 finals at 2pm, 5pm, 8pm
Sunday - D1, D2, D3, D4 finals starting at 11am, 2pm, 5pm, 8pm

Instead, we are playing state tournament games at subpar sites and robbing kids from the experience of playing on a big stage. But, the OHSAA coffers keep filling up so they don't care.

You do not have Thursday at UD arena. So what now Einstein?

Use Wright State for Thursday games and then UD arena for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Flip the divisions each year who play at Wright St first. These venues are close enough together that they could make it happen and would draw more crowds.

You assuming Wright State was available? I’m sure, you had conversations with the AD to confirm before you posted?

Oh look at that, this Thursday they have a broadway play (13th), next week they have PBR rodeo on Friday and Saturday. And I doubt you’ve got a clue about turning an arena. If you do, send me your resume, got folks who may want to hire you. But it’s off line next Thursday. So, please tell me what your magic answer is now. Or is your handle really PikeCo23Clown?

They are using it this weekend already for semifinal games. I am saying to plan it in the future. Or just keep complaining about things with no resolution. Sounds very familiar in this world today....

I don’t know what everyone thinks but OH$AA 7 divisions is terrible. I understand my team is in state semis, but it is no where near as big of an achievement winning state in 7 divisions vs winning state in 4 divisions.
