Exxon Mobil says its profit rose to $10.49 billion in the third quarter, making it the second largest quarterly profit ever for a publicly traded U.S. company, The Associated Press reports.

$2.29 in Peake 10/26/06.

It'll come down next week with the elections just around the corner. Wonder what gave the robber barons and diaper-heads the "jitters" this time for their excuse for raising prices again?

WHAT CONGRESSMEN ARE GONNA STEP FORWARD AND CONTROL THESE THIEVES? Surely SOME of them have a little testosterone or estrogen!

Oil dropped to 60.36 down 1.04 a barrel and wholesale gasoline closed at 1.5637 down -0.0286 a gallon.

paid 2.19 in Zanesville Sat. it ranged from 2.19 to 2.29 up there...

How about the oil and wholesale gas report this morning. Can't wait to see a followup today.


Oil closed at 58.36 down 2.39 a barrel and wholesale gas was 1.4555 down -0.1044 a gallon. The largest one day decrease I can remember for a long while. I bet John Clark himself was out changing the gas signs last night. :lol:

Oil up a dab yesterday to 58.73 up 37 cents a barrel and wholesale gasoline closed at 1.4646 up +0.0091 a gallon. I noticed gas was 2.16 last night in Ironton.
