Wouldn't surprise me considering how far it has come down in the last few months.I never thought we would see under 3.00 gas again let alone this.How long can it last is the real question ? I heard people are gobbling up big trucks and SUVS again in response to the low numbers.They can have em because these prices will go up again as soon as the crude supply goes back down.

Wonder how much USAs oil is shutting down

I would rather see USA oil producing at a high cost than cheap over seas oil coming in.

Some unknown gas facts -- the oil boom in the Dakotas is producing lots of oil but it has a "dirty" quality. Thus most American companies EXPORT it on the open world market and sell it offshore. While that forces down price with the oversupply, we continue to buy the Mid-East oil which is high quality to run our luxury cars and muscle trucks on. You really aren't "buying American" when you hit the pumps -- its still Saudi oil and American oil goes to the outside world, lol
