The Cowsills were a Rhode Island Family group.This was their last top 40 hit
Bud Cowsill was a Retired U.S. Navy chief petty officer.
The rest of the group was made up of his wife and four youngest sons

Barry Cowsill died in Hurricane Katrina. Bud Cowsill died early this year of a brain tumor.

WE'LL SING IN THE SUNSHINE...Gale Garnett, 1964, M&L by her.

One of the first New Zealanders to have a hit in America, she had one other hit, LOVIN' PLACE, early'65. She retired from the music biz a few years later, a vic of the British Invasion. At age 64, she's now a novelist and screen writer.
