Loox as if Sci-Fi has cancelled "Stargate Atlantis", but the 2nd half of this season will be aired as planned, beginning in January, '09. Also, its producers plan to make a 2-hour movie in the series, which, if successful, will lead to a series of such movies. But this will be IT for the regular TV series.
The "E" network-ette has cancelled "It's Complicated", yet another stupid reality show featuring Denise Richards & her kids trying to stay on top.
The whole "E" net-ette is fulla such garbage, & that's why I don't watch it at all. I doubt if many of y'all do, either.
The new TV season is just around the corner; as usual, some shows will go & some will blow. But I really don't care about too many of them since **FOOTBALL** is back!
MTV has cancelled "Total Request Live", a show which 'counts down' the top 10 videos of the day as called in by the viewership. The show will continue to run through this November.
The whole MTV net-ette has been in decline since they've largely gotten away from their founding staple, music videos, & gone more & more to trashy reality shows, in the manner of "E" & Bravo. I don't watch it at all any more.
Loox as if FX has pulled the plug on "The Riches". Its ratings had fallen considerably before the writers' strike, & FX apparently gave up on it. (As if anybody around here watches FX anyway!)
Not in any order, I loved all these T.V. Sitcoms. Those were the times growing up in the 60's and early 70's. Watching the T.V. series or their re-runs as a kid.
I like the later T.V. Series mentioned too. Most of the 1980's I spent, stationed in Europe, so all I had to watch was AFN, which showed limited T.V. shows and sitcoms broadcasted from the States back then.
Many of these T.V. sitcoms are still shown on T.V. Land, Channel 34, The American Life Channel, Channel 110 and WGN on Channel 12 in Chillicothe.

Soon, the axe will start cutting the November Timber again, as the nets unload their clinkers. Usually, it's CBS who starts cutting first, so get those VCRs & Tivos fired up if ya like some of their low-rated shows.
