Happy Town was dumped again; ABC's burn-off airings were so little-viewed that they yanked it for good.

Apparently Fox has dumped More To Love, yet another trashy dating/relationship show, which was actually more to HATE.
Good Riddance!

After 25 years, Larry King Live is ending this fall, as Mr. King wishes to pursue other projects.

Loox as if NBC dumped 100 Questions, another unfunny "comedy".

Some of my favorite cartoons of days gone by...
Top Cat, Jetsons, Ruff n' Reddi, Foghorn Leghorn, and of course, Mighty Mouse.

Many of these are still aired on various cartoon shows on various channels.

NBC did a quick yank of Breakthrough With Tony Robbins. While Robbins is highly successful in what he does, this show's format was not a good fit for him, nor with too many viewers. It went MMRRRPP! ratings-wise with a crash & was quickly canned.

It was nothing more than a shameless Tony Robbins infomercial. Just goes to show you how bad things have gotten at the "Big Three".

Pretty soon, the Big Three in television programming are going to be HBO, USA, and TNT. The quality of their programming is vastly better than the garbage that has been turned out by ABC and NBC in particular........

My next bet for cancellation is NBC's Persons Unknown, about a groupa strangers trapped in a ghost town. Less than 2 million watched it Saturday night! This isn't the worst show NBC ever aired, but burying it in the tomb of Summer Saturday Evening ensures it of low viewership & quick cancellation.

How about Popeye, Quick-Draw Mc Graw, Bugs Bunny & his supporting cast, Tweety & Sylvester, the entire Rocky/Bullwinkle collection?

Cartoon-like comedy:

The Benny Hill Show

The funniest scripted show on TN: The Red Green Show, a Canadian gem about a Rube Goldberg-style inventor runnung a hunting/fishing lodge, seen on PBS. So silly it's HILARIOUS! If ya aint ever seen it, it's worth yer while to tryta do so!

This is indeed the last season of Friday Night Lights.

The CW has cancelled 18 To life. (Who watches the CW any more anyway?) However, it's a canadian show, & will still air in Canada, with its new eps most likely being available somewhere on the Internet.

Only comedies I can stomach are Big Bang Theory (witty writing), How I Met your Mother (getting old, for God's sake, meet her already), and Two and a Half Men (still fresh if Charlie Sheen can stay out of prison). My wife and son love Modern Family....I just don't get it, sorry. Cancel ALL the rest and put on more Pawn Stars!

TBS has cancelled My Boys, a show about a single female Chicago sports writer looking for love. Shoot, I never saw it anyway, & I doubt if too many readers here did, either.

Fox quickly dumped Lone Star, a not-too-bad show about a con man leading a double life. Despite its stellar cast & gtood storyline, its Neilsens thru 2 eps were abysmal; thus it was quickly dumped. Its place will be taken by Lie To Me.

I predict the next casualty will be Running Wilde. Anybody else have a different guess?

I've got a show that's new that should be cancelled immediately. CBS show $#*! My Dad Says. Good website. Awful TV show.

By the way, can someone please tell me what is so great about Modern Family? I just don't think it is that funny.

Me, either...but I like zany, completely nonsensical comedy such as The Red Green Show on PBS.

ABC yanked My Generation, a show about a group of young adults who reunited 10 years after high school to see where life had led them. Had terrible Neilsens, even lower viewership than some CW shows!

It's that tima year again, when the TV nets swing their axes often, as their new shows sink or swim.

Latest casualty is Huge, on ABC Family, about a groupa teenage girls sent to weight-loss camp. It died dueta the usual disease of very low Neilsens.

I doubt if too many here watch ABC Family at all, let alone their lame reality shows, which are almost as bad as those on MTV or FX, but I thought I'd post this little news item anyway.

Another one bites the dust...

NBC has axed Outlaw, about a Supreme Court Justice who steps down to handle ordinary cases again. after four eps aired. The reason? The usual: low Neilsens.
'Tis the cancellation season, as the nets' new shows swim or sink.

Next to be axed? I predict it'll be Fox's Good Guys, which is a not-too-good show with terrible Neilsens.
