Ten million people under age 30 voted in the congressional election,an increase from 8 million in 2002.Exit polls indicated that 60 percent of these young voters cast their ballots for Democratic candidates.

A recount in the 13th Congressional District in Sarasota County,Florida,has discovered that a computerized voting machine failed to record about 15,000 voters. There is no paper record,so those voters are lost.The apparent winner,a Republican,is leading by 400 votes.

The Pentagon no longer Classifies homosexaality as a mental disorder.Instead it officially groups homosexuality under conditions,circumstances,and defects not conductive to military service including bed-wetting,sleepwalking,dyslexia,stuttering,and obesity.
