Re: 1/5 Warren at Athens
I watched em against Belpre. Pretty good team, fundamentally sound - as always.
Tuesday's game will be on Power 105.5FM or wxtq.com

Re: 1/5 Warren at Athens
... I'll be in the "better than" Cheap Seats location at McAfee Gymnasium Tuesday night to see this one ... should be fun ! my first look at Coach Maddox's Big Bad Blue this season ... the Warriors dropped out of the Elite 8 for the first time in ?????? I don't know how many years based on their 2nd loss to a TVC foe ... Warren stands at 0-2 in the TVC this season losing to Meigs in the WHS home opener followed by Alexander at the Alley this past week ...

Re: 1/5 Warren at Athens
Warren can really stretch the floor on you with outside shooting and #23 is a very athletic post player. They are very disciplined and play very good defense. I have not seen Athens, so I really cannot say who I think will win this game. After watching the Alexander game, I would not be surprised to see Warren force the ball out of Lutz's hands and force other Bulldogs to beat them.
Go TVC.

Re: 1/5 Warren at Athens
... taking the ball out of Griffin Lutz's hands IS the MO for beating Athens ... make the other players on the floor for the Bulldogs handle the ball, make pressured decisions with the ball ... it worked to perfection last season Athens @ Warren during the regular season BUT with that said Athens did not have Zacciah Saltzman on the floor to help handling the ball or Dalton Cozart ... this should be a fun game !!!spartans_fan wrote:Warren can really stretch the floor on you with outside shooting and #23 is a very athletic post player. Here Puppy, Puppy, time to get your annual spanking! Play that 2-3 zone and watch Big Blue just shred it!

What does Warren start? I know they had a tall kid on JV last year that was pretty good
Re: 1/5 Warren at Athens
This should be a good game. warren not as strong as they have been in past years, but play a scrappy defense. If Seth Hall is still out, it makes Warren play a completely different game as well. raider - Warren has started 4 different lineups this year.

Didn't he go to Fed Hock, live in Belpre, but rooted for Warren. Text him to get back on Seopreps93Bulldog wrote:What ever happened to WarriorBlue? He runs his mouth when the Big Bad Blue are good - but vanishes with they are rebuilding. Hmmmmm

I believe WarriorBlue will probably change his name to TigerOrange now that he's been coaching the Marietta kids. Don't think he has any more connections with Warren after his nephew graduated.

I saw this kid at the Warren basketball camp back in June and I think 6'2 is being generous. If he's 6'2, then Warren must be listing about three kids heights about 2/4" shorter than they are! WarriorBlue posted on his Facebook that he was going to be Warren's next "star", must of changed their minds.

Not sure how much playing time he will get, but if he has vastly improved since his Freshman year here we would definitely welcome it,Unknownstar wrote:Well I'm pretty close to landon be tells me everything don't be surprised when he suit's up for the marauders next yearma77ox wrote:I don't think Landon will be playing at Meigs next season.Unknownstar wrote:
