Not super familiar but I guess Burg. I know they lose a great pitcher, but they are loaded with young talent. Don't think Valley has a chance between Burg and Minford. And I wouldn't sleep on Webster either.

Burg adds yet another SOC banner to their list.

Valley loses 1 player total and ZERO pitching. You'll be surprised. Wheelersburg isn't all that you think.

Waverly only lost one starter so don't underestimate the Tigers.....

Burg has lost their top pitcher along with other players, as well with Minford, valley didn't have much last year, Webster not sure what they lost

But Waverly has lost 1 starter (3rd base) with a young team 5 freshman started last year , they will be loaded with pitching, probably at the top is the Reed boy the Howell kid and the Henderson boys, along with Thopmson and Moore both seeing some time on the mound, not to mention Kottenbrook , and maybe the Harris kid if he is back 100% from his shoulder surgery,
there top pitching will probably come from last years freshman class,

I believe the SOCII will be a toss up, and I don't look for burg to run away with anything, they may take a few losses this year in the SOCII
just my thoughts :o

I actually think Burg runs away with it again.

I don't believe Burg will run away with it this season. This new SOC schedule format will test teams this year. Whoever has the deepest pitching will stand out.

Valley has their entire team returning and should be in the hunt for the crown this year.

Waverly will also be a bit older and have returners coming back that should help them compete.

SW could honestly surprise some people. They return a group of kids that have started since their freshman year and could wake a few people up.

Burg has the best coach in Estep, but I'm not sure this new format favors their traditional, ride the one pitcher until it bucks you off routine.

Just as dirtfan had mentioned, this could be a 1-2 loss season to win it.

In think I like the new format, but we will see. Need to have at least 4 VERY good pitchers to win conference. And there will probably be a few non conference losses because you'll be throwing 5,6 or 7th pitcher in those games.

I like Burg's chances at repeating. Although there won't be any one dominant pitcher, i know that there are several very good ones, and I heard that there are a couple freshman pitchers who are going to surprise people. Time will tell how it all shakes out in SOC II.

Burg's pitching will be just fine despite the loss of last year to graduation.

A freshman LHP and RHP plus a pretty good group of upperclassmen arms and I like our chances to win games especially with our coaching. We will be challenged more so than in year's past but will be shocked if their isn't another banner at end of the season.

My guess for Top 3 in the SOC 2 goes

1. Burg
2. Valley
3. Waverly

You play the same conference team twice within a 3 day period. This keeps teams from throwing the same pitcher twice against same team.

It will be interesting to watch the transition from Coach Schuler to Coach Crabtree at Valley. I anticipate Coach Schuler will help in the transition. Class Act!

It will be for sure, but Valley is in GREAT hands for a long time.

See where we open up with some scrimmages with Unioto and Jackson in just a couple more weeks.

Hopefully spring will cooperate.

heard Waverly got a transfer from piketon pretty good pitcher so Waverly should have some good pitching. not sure if he has to sit out or what the deal is.
