Re: Pfloyd's Elite 8 of Southern/SouthEast Ohio Week #6
Cottrill averages 14.2 ppg on only 10 shots a game. He's ridiculously efficient and rarely plays more than 3 quarters a night. Has averaged 17-6-6 over his last 4 games.
The SVC Player of the Year race will be fun. Cottrill's numbers will be greatly skewed by lack of minutes. Mowery, Thomas, and Wyman likely to be in the conversation.
More that deserve mention
Max Knisley (Washington)
Devin Pierson (Lynchburg)
Michael Camp (Circleville)
Akia Brown (East)

How can you leave out Brandon Rowe for Minford? The kid just dropped 30 points tonight against Norm at Oak Hill.Crab's Brother wrote:Halfway through the season....Who is the favorite for the PFloyd's SEOP player of the year? How about a top 8 or so?

I'm guessing him at averaging 22 points a game and I would bet the kid leads the team in every stat. He is a team player that's very unselfish. IMO he is one of the top players in Southern Ohio.

Tristan Bartoe (Vinton County)
Mowery (ZT) has averaged 24 ppg after coming off of knee surgery. Oh yeah, and he scored 17 in the season opener when he was waiting for the surgery to happen. Mowery just makes everything look so easy when he's out on the court.

Randy Hixon is a sophomore shooting guard for Trimble - outstanding ! - I watched him drain 5 threes and 26 points at the Beasts of the Southeast vs Minford ...

Senior Cole Cottrill was intentionally fouled tonight and broke both wrists on the fall.
