I don't see why anyone would be mad at Logan for doing this. If an opportunity like this presented itself to Jackson or Warren, they would have taken it as well. Jackson has applied to more conferences than anyone at this point. Warren did turn down the ECOL, but the ECOL presented long road trips and was probably not a realistic option. Now that the ECOL seems to be exploding in the same manor the SEOAL did, I think the lesson to be learned here is that you can't make a "super conference" of high school teams that are hours apart from each other. It's simply not realistic and destroys the core of the conference from within.

I agree, and I don't think that is the only reason. Anyone who was around or cares about Warren leaving the TVC 30 years ago is either in a nursing home or dead. There is more to it than just a 30 year grudge.

Jackson will not be applying so it's safe to say it's over on that end
The reason Jackson and Warren think the tvc may be a home is because they're the only local league with similar size schools

Warren can't get in for one reason and one reason only, Their are still schools mad about them leaving the TVC 30 years ago.

Bingo! This is exactly why Warren is not in the TVC today. Old grudges. I think Warren will one day return to the TVC, but we have to wait until the ones in power who are old enough to have this grudge are no longer in power and no longer have strong influences at certain schools in the TVC.

Sometimes you have to wait for older generations to die off before certain things can happen. This applies to all aspects of life.

I am thinking its a little dubious to consider a Logan move to the LCL to be a "slam dunk", at least at this point.

I am also curious about the LCL realigning the way posters are professing it will if Logan comes in. I am pretty sure Northridge and Utica, two smaller publics who both have issues of getting kids to come out and play, do not want to play Granville and Licking Valley in football and basketball. Northridge almost left not even two years into the existence of the current LCL.
