11-6 Hiland 1st. Cadets already missed 5 free throws dominating on boards though.

11-6 after 1. Cadets missing a ton of close 3s. Played pretty tough defense. Enoch did get foul #1 in first.

Katie Hart has been a beast on defense and her hustle has been great. Cadets just need to get a few shots to fall trail 23-14

So what's the deal with Highland? Are they just not shooting well or what? Do they run offense or do they score in transition ?

Cadets slowing it down but Hiland is a running team with 2 1000 point scorers. It's 16-32 now Kennedy Schlabaugh just drained 4 straight 3 pointers.

More long and quick then tall. Angela Troyer is the teams best player. It's 37-22 after 3.

With the 2 Troyer girls, Schlbaugh, and McMillan they are just loaded. Cadets have missed a ton of open 3s though. It's 41-25 in 4th

Great year great team. Just too bad they had to run up on Hiland this early on. It's been fun watching these ladies this yearEasternDspy wrote:Yea still won a PVC, OVAC , and Sectional title without teams best player.

Game program showed #10 Schlabach as 5'5", shortese player on the Hawks team.
Their two tallest players (6', and 6'1") are both Freshmen, rest of team range from 5'6" to 5' 11".
Just about every time clock stopped Hiland had three fresh subs enter game, and with no drop off in talent.
Give the Cadets defense credit for slowing the game down, as Hiland would much rather speed up the tempo and get their 80-90 points.
