Chesapeake #2 (17-6) vs. Eastern Brown #6 (17-7) District Semi-Final

Should be a fun match-up! Two disciplined teams who are well coached and play very hard.

Thoughts/predictions?

Does Beucler and the team have any more magic in their bag of tricks? I know one thing for sure, They will play hard the whole game and coach Beucler will have a game plan. Good luck to the Eastern Brown Warriors.

Looking forward to this one folks. I expect this to go down to the wire. I am going to go with the underdog WARRIORS getting the win and advancing to the District Finals for a Saturday night showdown with VALLEY, who I think will also win. Good Luck to both teams!

I'll take Eastern by 9 with no true big. Ky're had 31, Portsmouth still lost by 14

Two very well coached teams that is for sure. The difference could be Meadows for Peake, BigPoppa77 the matchup is different even though EB beat Portsmouth and Portsmouth beat the Peake. EB may have touble with Meadows so I'll take Peake by 5.

Portsmouth beat Eastern Brown in a game played at Chesapeake beast of southeast but had to come from 12 down in the 4th to do it ,then Eastern Brown handled the Trojans at waverly , both games between Portsmouth and Chesapeake were very good and close games , so I'm guessing this is going to be one heck of a game ,and I can't wait to see this one.

Eastern handled PV's big with no issues. At this point in the season, one player will not get you there. Not at all knocking the rest of the Peake team, as I know little about them. What I do know is Eastern will be consistent for all 4 qtrs on both sides of the ball and as a unit 6-7 deep. They have handled the 20-30pt player, big or small, all season. Give the big man 30, Ky're got 31. Who does Peake have in addition to win this game?

Gage Rhoads for Peake is a very very good guard who can handle the ball and shoot very well , this game is to close for me to pick a winner like I posted before this will be a must see match up

Chesapeake has an edge in talent on the floor. Eastern has Beuclar, which is a key. I will go out on a limb and take Eastern strictly because of Beuclar. And, I know that Davis is no slouch, either.

Rhoades and Big Brad Meadows pace the Peake with 14 each and the Panthers advance with a 46-36 win over EB. Panthers played terrible for about 3 quarters but stayed in it with great defense. Panthers play Valley Saturday at 8, who they beat earlier this year by 2 at North Adams

Addition to my last comment, Chesapeake showed they don't need just one guy to win. A good scoring guard and a dominant big lead they way with a supporting cast of "Three and D" guards

Davis is a very good coach that teaches the game the right way. His teams are very solid fundamentally and well prepared. Congrats!
