Not underestimating western, just didn't think there was much info to assume they would beat SG easy as was said earlier. I think it will be a good game.

Western will win if they get any production from there bench. Watch out if Lane Brewster gets hot from behind the line, this kid is a lethal three point shooter. Western record is deceitful, they lost a game on a last second layup the East, played a few overtime games, and only lost a few games by 10 points or less, they were in most of their games, and could easily be a 15 to 18 games winner. don't pay attention to their record.

IMO, comparing scores has been useless this year. But i know it is the only way if you have not seen the 2 teams ,to make a comparison. I just would not rely on that to much. Again, makes for discussion. Would like to see the Indians pull this one out.

If south gallia plays like they did for the first 2 and a half quarters against southern then western should win by double digits... But if south gallia comes out playing defense like they did in the last three mins of the 3rd and the fourth quarter then south gallia comes out on top... South gallia has the talent to play with any d4 team in the district, but effort lacks at times.

If Coach Miller can keep his young team focused on the game, and not their surroundings, they should be ok. No prediction as I have not seen SG play. But, as an earlier poster mentioned, I wouldn't rely on the record so much. They were in almost every game this year. I was really impressed by their poise vs ND at the sectional final. They could very easily have been 17-7 right now instead of the 12-12 that you see. I believe that if they can overcome the inexperience of playing at the Convo since 2009. That they can play with anyone in the District Bracket. They rebound well for a smaller team. The Perdue kid #22 needs to have as good of a game as he did the other night for them to move on. But, no matter who you have played. A 5 loss team like SG knows how to win. This will, or should be a really good game.

I wouldn't call it bulldozing. Trimble won, yes, but a #5 seed Clay took them to OT and even led the majority of the game.

Waterford, though, was very impressive in their win over Eastern Pike. From what I saw, Waterford is the favorite to beat Trimble.
