[quote="Brownies1"]39-37 Vinton..6min to go. Vinton inability to not rebound is allowing union to get 2nd and 3rd shots[/quote

not trying to be the grammar police, but the "inability to not rebound" means that they can rebound

I remembered that post... Really FU has been a good FT shooting team. it cost them tonight. They were up I believe 5 when they missed 4 straight. Opened the door to VC and they took advantage. Gonna haunt FU, as they had kept VC from leading at any point until late in the 4th.

Great game! Great atmosphere! You know when you arrive 20 minutes before tipoff and have to park at the credit union - it's going to be a good one.

When they turned out the lights and Lou introduced the lineups - this is one guy who was pumped! I was ready to jump the railing and get out there and mix it up underneath the hoop! lol

As for the game, it just came down who got that late push at the right time - and it was VC. All night long it was neck-and-neck, the Vikings seized the momentum at the exact time that it took to win the game.

Congrats Coach Combs and the Vikes on a well deserved district championship!

as I said, VC is one of the best free throw shooting teams I have seen all year. Free throws win games at the end. FU missed numerous and VC capitalized. Great game between 2 evenly matched teams. VC played a great fourth quarter, just like last week!!

According to the bracket, http://brackets.myohsaa.org/regionalbra ... 5073&not=4, VC will play JG. Does that get switched?

This could be where it's switched but since JG bracket didn't play in ST C. Or even mentioned in their bracket heading... I don't know which is which.

@StoriedRivals: Vinton County def. Fairfield Union, 53-46, will play John Glenn/Indian Valley winner. Common opponent? Sheridan. Vikings beat them 61-52.

JG beat Sheridan 75-58 and 86-55
