It doesn't get much better than this! Well deserved district title fellas. Great game FFU. Solid team and a great following from the falcon nation. What an atmosphere!

I noticed that OHSAA has switched it around on the bracket page it was listed Zanesville , Columbus , Ohio U , Belmont. It's now got Zanesville and Belmont districts flip flopped.

JG beat Sheridan 75-58 and 86-55
Scores can be misleading, JG led Sheridan by nearly 50 through three quarters if I'm not mistaken. Tough task but on any given night.....really enjoyed watching VC tonight, if there is a coach who gets more out of his team than this I'd have to see it.

Great game last night. In the end it came down to which team could hit the freebies. VC did and will move on FU did not and will be getting ready for baseball. I was very impressed with the big man for FU his offensive rebounding single handedly kept them in the game. And only a soph.....WOW!! I fully expect to these two teams back in Athens next year, Both are young and talented.

JG 82-43 final. Actually a little surprised it was that close.

That's the thing with JG, they destroyed teams all the way til the Regionals and then were unable to massively press the better teams. I think they are better this year, so it's going to be a big challenge for the Vikings, but with their guard play, I could see them making it a game and possibly pulling the upset.

Even lbj's ASVSM teams didn't blow everyone out... JG probably won't blow everyone out, but they also played in some close games vs really good teams too. They're tested. I could see desales with all their size, giving JG some trouble. VC isn't though.

VC's biggest advantage is that they have played 2 games in the Convo. It is a difficult place to play if your not used to the court. Hopefully they can jump out to an early lead and have JG playing from behind which I'm sure they are not used to.
