Great to see SE Ohio officials working the game, one being Waverly's own Rod Nichols. I didn't get to see the first half but what I saw of the 2nd half they did a nice job.

Yes, I wasn't sure where Jason is from. The 3rd is from Lucasville area I believe.

They struggled to call the game consistently, that's for sure. Cheer blocks and crowd was booing them on several occasions -- some deserved, some not.

Congrad to the Muskies. One of the better passing and shooting teams . Very well coached . Close up in the timeout showed some great coaching . Great team work and New Concord has to be proud. Enjoy it !!!!!

Glenn really had no weakness. By far the best D2 team in the state. They were fun to watch. I like teams that score a lot of points

Congratulations to the John Glenn Muskies. Beating Akron SVSM twice in a season, and once on their court, is no small feat. It was fun to watch them because they were the epitome of team basketball. Just shows that a team can win a state title without a lot of size as long as they have good guard play. The Muskies certainly had that.

John Glenn was a very good team. Refs did let St V get a little physical which let them back in the game.

Yeah, a turnover margin of -16 had nothing to do with St. V getting back in the game. Really, let's go blaming officials.

Right, because officials not being consistent and allowing the game to get MUCH more physical doesn't increase the turnover margin or anything?

Allowing SVSM to be overly physical on the press is an obvious benefit to them. Do you not watch basketball?

Personally, I thought the officials did a poor job in this game. Both ways. I just thought that they were very inconsistent with their calls all night. I'm sure being on the big stage and nerves had something to do with it. Though, I thought that they did a nice job keeping their cool and remembering what the kids are playing for and not giving ASVSM a technical when there were a few instances when it could have been warranted.
