Fort Frye is gonna be a handful for anyone in the pvc. I think a feaw pvc schools will play with them but beating them will be tricky. Has Caldwell named a coach yet?

Interesting, Caldwell names a new football coach who is a board members husband and the AD resigns on the same night. Might run into him this weekend, wondering what went down. Nothing from the people in charge in this district surprises me anymore. I just hope they don't let him leave as a basketball coach. It's been nice to watch good basketball for awhile considering how bad it was for years before he took over.

And Caldwells run in sports is over. Hiring a coach that took a loaded jr high team and they didn't score a touchdown all year until teams took their starters out. Got blown out about every game. AD resigned because he didn't suggest Gaydos and had about 15-20 better applicants. Combine the horrible coach and loss of great 2016 class Caldwell is going to struggle mightily. But at least the School Board is happy. That's what it's all about

The fact that Caldwell might of ran off Clint Crane is pathetic. He has been one of the best things for Caldwell in a long time.

i think i have solid information now and everyone says this league is up for 2nd place between shenandoah, buckeye trail, monroe central and caldwell, 1st and 6th are decided already.

My source has told me there was pressure to hire the JH coach from a former head coach at Caldwell. I do know AD did not feel the JH coach was the best candidate. This will drop Caldwell down to fourth or fifth in PVC at end of year.

my buddy who has a kid graduating this year said he talked to our AD and he tried to avoid the subject. Said he told him the Jh team went winless because they had 20 seventh graders and only a few eighth graders. He also said that the new coach was a good guy and he hoped he did well.
He said that our AD stepped down because he was also teaching and coaching and it wasn't worth the time or money. I'm not sure I believe that, one of our board members who frequents a local watering hole said his resignation letter cited lack of administrative support. Guess he's just trying to avoid upsetting the apple cart.

Who do you guys think will be the best lineman in the league? I'm going with Owen Matheny Fort Frye. Just watched his Jr year highlights and I think he will dominate. Players like Lewis, Baker , Lockery will love having him open up huge holes.

This is Caldwells final year of a great run.Losing Cobb, Poling and Rucker will be hard to replace not to mention athletic players like jack and T. Ivey is back and he is best back in the league. Allen is back. Schuster and Archer back two. Caldwell should go 8-2.

Ivey is not better then Casey Lewis. Lewis has had like over 2000 yards and 25 tds the last 2 seasons.
